Prove Your Love By Winning Souls
“곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라”(고후 5:19)
우리가 가진 전도의 책임은 온 천국이 중요하게 여기는 것입니다. 슬프게도 많은 사람들은 실제로 이것이 얼마나 중요한지 이해하지 못합니다. 영혼을 구원하지 않는 사람이 천국에 갈 수 있는지 여전히 묻는 그리스도인들이 있습니다. 그런 사람들에게는 “하나님 혹은 예수님을 사랑하지 않는 사람이 천국에 가겠습니까?” 라고 묻고 싶습니다. 그런 일은 일어나지 않을 것입니다.
성경은 말합니다. “… 낳으신 이를 사랑하는 자마다 그에게서 난 자를 사랑하느니라”(요일 5:1). 당신이 아버지를 사랑한다면, 예수님을 사랑해야 합니다. 고린도전서 16:22은 말합니다. “만일 누구든지 주를 사랑하지 아니하면 저주를 받을지어다 우리 주여 오시옵소서.”
당신이 예수님을 사랑한다는 증거는 그분의 계명 곧 그분의 말씀을 지키는 것입니다(요 14:15). 그분의 말씀은 “너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라”(막 16:15)고 말합니다. 그러므로 영혼구원을 통해 그 말씀을 지키십시오. 누군가는 “예수님이 오시기 전에 태어났기 때문에 그분에 대한 사랑을 표현할 기회가 전혀 없었던 사람들은 어떡합니까?” 라고 물을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 그들도 하나님의 말씀인 율법과 계명을 가지고 있었습니다.
욥은 다음과 같이 말했습니다. “…음식보다 그의 입의 말씀을 귀히 여겼도다”(욥 23:12). 예수님이 그 말씀이십니다(요 1:14). 할렐루야! 그러므로 구약의 성도들도 모두 그분을 향한 사랑을 표현할 분명한 기회가 있었습니다. 마태복음 28:19에서 예수님은 “그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아…” 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이는 당신의 세상에 있는 사람들을 제자로 삼으라는 뜻입니다. 그들에게 하나님과 왕국의 삶에 대해 가르치십시오. 이 땅에 그분의 왕국을 세우십시오. 주님을 향한 당신의 사랑과 헌신은 복음 전파에 대한 헌신으로 나타나야 합니다.
기도
주님, 당신을 사랑합니다. 나는 복음의 효과적인 증인으로서 복음의 신비를 담대하고 당당하게 선포하며 당신의 의로 내 세상에 영향을 끼칩니다. 내가 성령으로 말미암아 효과적인 증인이 될 수 있도록 나에게 힘을 주시고, 복음의 능력을 통해 나의 세상과 그 너머까지 변화시키심에 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PROVE YOUR LOVE BY WINNING SOULS
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19).
Our evangelical responsibility is something that all of heaven takes seriously. Sadly, many don’t understand how serious this really is. There’re Christians who are still asking if whether or not someone who doesn’t win souls will go to heaven. The question to ask such people is, “If someone doesn’t love God, or love Jesus, will that person go to heaven?” That’s not going to happen.
The Bible says, “…every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him” (1 John 5:1). If you love the Father, you must love Jesus. 1 Corinthians 16:22 says, “If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” That means let him be accursed.
The proof of your love for Jesus is keeping His commandments—His Word (John 14:15). His Word says, “…Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). So you keep that word by being a soul winner. Someone might ask, “How about those who lived before Jesus came and didn’t quite have the opportunity to express their love for Him?” They had the Word of God—His laws and commandments.
Job said, “…I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12). Jesus is the Word (John 1:14). Hallelujah! Thus, every one of them had a clear opportunity to express their love for Him. He said in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….” That means make pupils of those in your world, teach them about God and the Kingdom-life, establish His Kingdom in the earth. Your love and commitment to the Lord must reflect in your dedication to the preaching of the Gospel.
PRAYER
I love you Lord, and I boldly and openly proclaim the mysteries of the Gospel as an effective witness, and impact my world with your righteousness. Thank you for empowering me by your Spirit to be an effective witness, transforming my world and beyond with the news of your saving power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
