당신이 말할 때 능력이 풀어집니다
The Power Is Released When You Speak
“사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라”(롬 10:10)
당신은 이성적이고 차분하다고 자주 묘사되는 사람일 수도 있습니다. 혹은 매우 조용한 사람으로 알려져 있을지도 모릅니다. 하지만 대적과 고난들에 맞서 말씀을 말하거나 선포할 때는 사나워지십시오. 차분하고 조용히 있지 마십시오. 이는 성경이 말하는 세 단계의 묵상 중 세 번째를 생각나게 합니다. 사자와 같이 포효하는 것입니다! 포효라는 단어는 히브리어로 “하갈(Hagar)”입니다.
하갈은 말씀을 포효하거나 외치는 것을 의미합니다. 하나님의 말씀을 적용할 때는 공격적으로 변하십시오. 질병이 당신이나 당신이 사랑하는 사람들을 공격하려고 할 때, 맹렬하게 말씀을 확증하십시오. 당신이 선포하는 말씀이 상황을 압도하기 전까지 멈추지 마십시오. 말씀이 반드시 승리하기 때문입니다!
성경은 말합니다. “이와 같이 주의 말씀이 힘이 있어 흥왕하여 세력을 얻으니라”(행 19:20). 당신이 말씀을 말할 때, 말씀은 계속 융성해집니다. 그러므로 필연적인 결과는 말씀이 승리하는 것입니다. 따라서 상황이 얼마나 끔찍하고 심각하든지 상관없이 어떤 상황에서도 말씀을 사용하십시오.
혼자 방에 있을 때 “나는 거듭났습니다. 내 안에 하나님의 생명이 있습니다. 나는 내 몸에 질병이나 연약함을 받아들이지 않습니다. 내 몸은 성령의 전입니다. 그러므로 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 온전합니다. 나는 건강하게 살아갑니다.” 라고 자주 선포하십시오. 당신이 말할 때에 능력이 풀어지므로 날마다 이렇게 고백하십시오.
능력은 단순히 알고 있거나 믿는다고 해서 역사하지 않습니다. 능력이 역사하게 하려면 반드시 말해야 합니다. 바로 이것이 오늘 우리가 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용입니다. 당신의 입은 단지 의사소통하고 먹기 위한 것이 아닙니다. 입의 가장 중요한 기능은 그런 것들이 아닙니다. 당신의 입의 가장 중요한 기능은 당신의 인생을 올바르게 지어가는 것입니다.
선지자는 “너는 말씀을 가지고 가라”(호 14:2)고 말했습니다. 여기서 말하는 말씀은 그저 아무 말이 아닌 하나님의 말씀입니다. 당신의 입에 있는 하나님의 말씀은 창조적인 힘입니다. 말씀을 사용하여 상황을 바꾸며 당신의 삶을 탁월하게 만들고 영광에서 영광으로 가십시오. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀은 묵상을 통해 내 안에 풍성히 거하고 있으며, 나는 말씀을 담대하게 선포합니다. 나의 말은 창조적이며 신성하고, 상황을 바꿀 수 있는 능력으로 가득합니다. 나의 말은 생명을 만들어내도록 능력을 받았습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다.

THE POWER IS RELEASED WHEN YOU SPEAK
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).
Perhaps you’re often described as a cool and calm person, very quiet. But when it comes to speaking or releasing the Word—using it against the adversary and adversities—be wild. Refuse to be cool and calm. It brings to mind the third of the three levels of meditation that the Bible talks about: “roaring!” The Hebrew word is “Hagar.”
Hagar means roaring or shouting the Word. In putting the Word of God to work, be on the offensive. When sickness tries to attack you or your loved ones, get wild in your affirmation of the Word. Don’t stop until the Word you speak prevails over that situation, because it’ll surely prevail!
The Bible says, “So mightily grew the Word of God and prevailed” (Acts 19:20). As you speak the Word, it’ll keep growing; the necessary result, therefore, will be for it to prevail. So, use the Word to deal with any situation, irrespective of how dire or grave the situation is.
Every so often, declare, “I’m born again; I have the life of God in me. I refuse to accommodate sickness or infirmities in my body. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; therefore, it’s perfected in Christ Jesus. I live in health.” Talk like this every day, because the power is released when you speak.
The power doesn’t work just because you know it or believe it. The principle is that you must SAY it for it to work. That’s what we read in our theme verse. Your mouth isn’t just for communicating and eating; those are the lesser functions of the mouth. The primary function of your mouth is to frame your life aright.
The Prophet said, “Take with you words…” (Hosea 14:2); not just any words but God’s Word. The Word of God in your mouth is a creative force; use it to change circumstances and make your life excellent, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word dwells in me richly through meditation, and I speak it forth boldly. My words are creative and divine, infused with power to change circumstances; they’re empowered to produce life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
