“그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래를 부르며 감사하는 마음으로 하나님을 찬양하고”(골 3:16)
성경이 말하는 끝없는 승리의 삶을 누리려면 하나님의 말씀이 당신 안에 깊이 뿌리 박혀 있어야 합니다. 당신이 말씀에 깊이 뿌리 내리고 있다면 그 무엇도 당신을 흔들 수 없습니다. 당신이 어떤 역경을 직면하고 있든지 당신은 항상 승리할 것입니다. 당신이 말씀을 듣거나 공부할 때 즐거워하는 것만으로는 충분하지 않습니다. 말씀을 묵상하는 시간을 가지십시오.
당신의 기쁨이 밖으로 표출될 때, 그 기쁨은 당신의 영 안에서 보고 얻은 승리와 당신의 영에 임한 말씀의 영향력 때문이어야 합니다. 당신의 영에 영향을 끼치는 말씀에는 영광이 있습니다. 모세를 떠올려 보십시오. 그가 시내 산에서 하나님과 40일을 보내며 십계명을 받은 후, 그의 얼굴은 하나님께로부터 받은 말씀의 영광으로 인해 빛났습니다. 모세에게 십계명은 그저 율법이 아니라 생명이었습니다.
당신이 말씀을 깊이 숙고하고 묵상할 때, 말씀은 당신의 영을 사로잡고 육신에 영향을 미치므로 하나님의 영광이 말그대로 당신을 비춥니다. 고린도후서 3:18은 말합니다. “우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 그와 같은 형상으로 변화하여 영광에서 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라.” 말씀에 영광이 있습니다. 당신이 말씀을 받을 때 당신 삶의 영광은 증가합니다.

고백
나는 말씀을 공부하고 묵상함으로 말씀에 대한 강한 갈망을 키웁니다. 말씀은 내 영에서 세력을 얻으며, 내 안에서 그리고 나를 통해 하나님의 영광과 탁월함과 아름다움과 완전함이 나타나게 합니다. 말씀이 나로 하여금 삶에서 승리하게 합니다. 내 영과 입에 있는 말씀으로 나는 주님을 신실하게 섬기며 그분께 지금 그리고 영원히 영광을 드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

IMPACT OF THE WORD IN YOUR SPIRIT
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).
The Word of God has to be deeply rooted in you for you to enjoy the life of endless victories the Bible talks about. When you’re deeply rooted in the Word, nothing shakes you; you’ll always win, irrespective of the adversities you face. It’s not enough to merely get excited when you hear or study the Word; take some time to meditate.
When you get excited outwardly, let it be because of the victory you’ve seen and obtained in your spirit, and the impact the Word has made on your spirit.
The Word impacting your spirit is where the glory is. Consider Moses: After spending forty days and forty nights with God on Mount Sinai receiving the Commandments, the skin of his face shone by reason of the glory of the Word he received from God. To Moses, the commandments weren’t just laws; they were life.
When you deeply contemplate and meditate on the Word, the Word will take a hold of your spirit and impact your physical body, so much so that the glory of God will literally beam from you. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As you receive the Word, the intensity of the glory in your life is increased!
Read our theme verse again; it says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”
(Colossians 3:16). This is the way to keep yourself afire, living in victory always, unshakeable and unmovable, established in Him. Colossians 2:7 AMPC says,
“Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.”
CONFESSION
I cultivate a deep appetite for the Word, in study and meditation. The Word gains the ascendancy in my spirit and causes the glory, excellence, beauties and perfections of God to be seen in and through me.
The Word puts me over in life; with the Word in my spirit, and coming forth from my mouth, I serve the Lord faithfully and bring Him glory now and forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
