하나님은 당신을 위해 행하십니다
He’ll Make It Happen For You
“… 너희가 무엇이든지 아버지께 구하는 것을 내 이름으로 주시리라 지금까지는 너희가 내 이름으로 아무 것도 구하지 아니하였으나 구하라 그리하면 받으리니 너희 기쁨이 충만하리라”(요 16:23-24)
오늘의 본문 구절에 등장하는 “주시리라”라는 단어는 그리스어로 “디도미(didomi)”이며, 하나님께서 당신이 필요로 하는 것을 주신다는 뜻입니다. 그분은 당신을 위해 행하십니다. 예수님이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 말씀하신 내용은 그분의 이름으로 무엇이든 구하고 응답을 받기를 기대하라는 공개적인 초대입니다.
그러나 안타깝게도 어떤 사람들은 이를 행동에 옮기지 않습니다. 그들은 자신이 처한 어려움에 대해 우는 소리를 하며 투덜거립니다. 그분은 “구하라 그리하면 받으리니 너희 기쁨이 충만하리라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 당신이 삶에서 분투하거나 분노하거나 비참하기를 원치 않으십니다. 그분은 당신이 항상 기쁘기 원하시며, 당신의 요청을 들어주는 것이 당신을 기쁘게 한다는 것을 알고 계십니다. 그리하여 당신의 기쁨이 충만하고 넘치길 원하십니다.
현재 당신의 사업이 어렵거나 이미 실패한 상황일 수도 있습니다. 혹은 투자한 일이 실패했을 수도 있습니다. 당신 삶의 어떤 영역에서 심각한 도전을 마주하고 있을 수도 있습니다. 주님은 이렇게 말씀하십니다. “네가 원하는 것을 구하라. 내가 이루어 주겠다!” 당신이 원하는 것이 무엇이든 울지 마십시오. 구걸하지 마십시오. 투덜거리지 마십시오. 그저 그분의 말씀을 따라 행하십시오. 구하고 받으십시오.
주님은 당신을 사랑하십니다. 그분은 당신의 성공에 관해 당신보다 훨씬 열정적이고 단호하십니다. 그러므로 당신을 힘들게 하는 문제가 무엇이든지 그것을 주님께 맡기십시오. 그분은 빌립보서 4:6-7에서 “아무것도 염려하지 말고 다만 모든 일에 기도와 간구로, 너희 구할 것을 감사함으로 하나님께 아뢰라 그리하면 모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키시리라”고 말씀하셨습니다.
하나님은 당신이 삶에서 기쁨이 넘치고 충만하도록 준비해 두셨습니다. 성경은 그분이 우리에게 모든 것을 누리도록 값없이 주셨다고 말합니다. 당신이 해야 할 일은 오직 그분을 신뢰하는 것입니다. 믿음으로 예수 이름 안에서 구하고 받으십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 예수 이름으로 무엇이든 구하고 응답을 받을 수 있는 공개적인 초대에 감사드립니다. 당신은 나의 기도에 응답하고 내 마음의 갈망을 들어주는 것이 당신의 기쁨이라는 것을 계속해서 증명하셨습니다. 나는 당신께서 이미 그리스도 안에서 나에게 모든 것이 가능하도록 하셨기 때문에 내가 생명과 경건에 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있음을 압니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE’LL MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR YOU
…Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:23-24).
The phrase “…he will give it you” in the verse above is “dido?mi” in Greek, and it means God will grant you what you require; He’ll make it happen for you. What Jesus said there gives us an open invitation to ask anything in His Name and expect to receive answers.
Sadly, some people aren’t putting this to work, yet they whine and gripe over their predicaments. He said, “…ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” He doesn’t want you struggling through life, angry and miserable. He wants you joyful ALWAYS, and He knows one of the ways to make that happen is having your requests granted, you being in surplus and abundance.
Perhaps today, your business is failing or has failed, or your investments have gone down the drain;
perhaps you’re facing serious challenges in any area of your life; the Lord is saying, “Ask what you will, and I’ll make it happen for you!” Whatever it is that you want, don’t cry; don’t beg; don’t gripe. Just act on His Word; ask and receive.
The Lord loves you. He’s more passionate and determined for your success than you could ever be.
So, whatever troubles you, present it to Him as He has said. In Philippians 4:6-7, He said, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
He’s made more than enough provisions for you?to make you joyful and fulfilled in life. The Bible says He gives us all things freely to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17); yours is to simply trust Him; ask in faith, in the Name of Jesus, and receive.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for this open invitation to ask anything in the Name of Jesus and receive answers.
You’ve proven time and time again that it’s your delight to answer my prayers and graciously grant my heart’s desires. I know I have all I require for life and godliness, for you’ve already made them available to me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
