Keep Satan In Check

“믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…”(막 16:17-18)

모든 그리스도인들이 반드시 이해해야 할 한 가지 중요한 진리는 사탄과 그의 모든 귀신들은 철저히 완벽하게 예수님에 의해 권세를 잃고 패배했다는 것입니다. 그러므로 어떤 그리스도인도 사탄을 두려워해서는 안 됩니다. 그는 두려워할 만한 대상이 아닙니다. 예수님께서 우리가 그분의 이름으로 할 수 있는 일을 알려주시면서 가장 첫 번째로 말씀하신 것이 바로 귀신을 내쫓는 것이라는 사실을 깨달으십시오. 이것은 사탄이 얼마나 무력한지 보여줍니다.

당신의 삶을 그리스도께 드린 지 얼마 되지 않았다고 하더라도, 당신은 사탄을 다스리고 귀신을 내쫓을 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 거듭난 당신은 하나님의 생명과 그리스도의 의를 가지고 있기 때문입니다. 당신은 예수님의 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 그러므로 사탄을 저지하는 것은 당신이 얼마나 오랫동안 그리스도인이었는지, 혹은 당신이 생각하기에 당신이 얼마나 “영적인지”와 전혀 관련이 없습니다. 이것은 예수님과, 예수님이 당신에게 그분의 이름 안에서 걷고 살도록 주신 권세와 관련이 있습니다.

사탄은 당신의 삶이나 가정, 도시, 민족, 혹은 당신이 사랑하는 사람들의 삶을 지배할 권리가 없습니다. 그를 내쫓으십시오! 그리스도 안에서 그에 대한 당신의 권세를 행사하십시오. 예수 이름을 사용하여 그를 어느 때나, 어디서나, 언제든지 쫓아내십시오. 당신이 예수 이름 안에서 사탄에게 말하면, 그는 마치 예수님이 말씀하시는 것을 들은 것처럼 반응할 것입니다.

당신은 이런 질문을 할 수도 있습니다. “제가 귀신을 쫓았는데 그가 안 나가면 어떡하죠?” 당신이 예수 이름 안에서 했다면, 그것은 고려할 사항이 아닙니다. 당신이 예수 이름이 대표하고 있는 것이 무엇인지 의식하고 있다면 말입니다. 이것을 이해하십시오. 우리는 예수 이름 안에서 걷고, 그것은 곧 그분의 이름의 능력과 권세를 깨닫는 것입니다. 즉 그분의 이름이 대표하는 것이 무엇인지에 대한 의식을 가지고 살아가는 것입니다.

빌립보서 2:9-11은 말합니다. “이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고…” 당신이 이것을 알면서 귀신과 협상을 하고 있을 수 없습니다. 당신은 그들을 그냥 내쫓습니다! 예수 이름 앞에 어떤 마귀도 서 있을 수 없습니다. 그들은 그 이름이 의미하는 바를 알고 있습니다. 왜냐하면 그들은 지옥에서 예수님이 모든 통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하고 그들을 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으셨다는 것을 알고 있기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

고백

KEEP SATAN IN CHECK

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils… (Mark 16:17).

One important truth every Christian must understand is that Satan and all his demons have been thoroughly, and completely dethroned and defeated by Jesus. So, no Christian should be afraid of Satan; he’s not a factor. Think about the fact that the very first thing Jesus said we could do in His Name is casting out devils; it shows just how much Satan has been paralysed.

Even if you only gave your life to Christ moments ago, you have authority over Satan and can cast out demons. That’s because being born again, you have the life of God and the righteousness of Christ; you have the authority of Jesus. Therefore, keeping Satan in check isn’t a question of how long you’ve been a Christian or how “spiritual” you think you are; it’s about Jesus and the authority He’s given you to walk and live in His Name.

Satan has no right to run things in your life, in your home, city, nation, or in the lives of your loved ones;

cast him out! Exercise your authority in Christ over him. Cast him out any day, anytime and anywhere by using the Name of Jesus. When you address Satan in the Name of Jesus, he responds as though he’s hearing directly from Jesus.

You might ask, “What if the demon doesn’t go when I try to cast him out?” That’s not an option if you’re doing it in the Name of Jesus; when you have the consciousness of what that Name represents.

Understand this: we walk in His Name, and walking in His Name is recognizing the power and authority of His Name; living with the consciousness of what His Name represents.

Philippians 2:9-10 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” You couldn’t know this and be negotiating with demons; you cast them out! No devil can stand the Name of Jesus; they know what that Name represents because they are aware that in hell, Jesus spoiled principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15).

Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I was born a victor, and I live triumphantly over Satan and circumstances. I live a superior life, far above the world’s corrupting influences by the power of the greater One who lives in me. I walk in the light of my righteousness in Him, manifesting His dominion and unveiling His wisdom that’s in my spirit continually.

“여호와여 주의 말씀은 영원히 하늘에 굳게 섰사오며”(시 119:89)

말씀에서 말하는 당신과 반대되는 것은 무엇이든지 절대로 받아들이지 마십시오. 말씀의 완전함에 절대로 의문을 품지 마십시오. 하나님이 말씀하는 당신이 진짜 당신이며, 그분께서 당신이 가지고 있다고 하는 것을 당신은 가지고 있으며, 그분께서 당신이 할 수 있다고 하는 것을 당신은 할 수 있다고 동의하십시오.

하나님의 말씀이 당신에게 새로운 사고방식을 부여하게 하십시오. 그저 당신의 몸에서 질병의 증상을 느꼈다고 당신이 아프다고 말하지 마십시오. 그렇게 말하는 것은 말씀의 반대편에 서는 것입니다. 말씀은 예수님을 죽은 자로부터 살리신 이의 영이 당신 안에 살고 계시다면 (그리고 하나님은 감사하게도 그렇게 하셨습니다), 그 똑같은 영이 당신의 죽을 몸도 살리실 것이라고 말합니다(롬 8:11).

베드로전서 2:9(AMPC)은 말합니다. “그러나 너희는 선택 받은 민족이요 왕 같은 제사장이며, 구별되어 헌신된 나라요, [하나님께서] 친히 사신 특별한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 경이로운 행위를 내세우고 그분의 덕과 완벽함을 내보이게 하려 하심이라.” 하나님의 말씀은 실재적이므로, 당신이 이러한 말씀을 읽을 때 반드시 반응해야 합니다. 이렇게 말하십시오. “하나님을 송축합니다! 나의 삶은 영광과 아름다움과 지혜와 탁월함의 영으로 가득하며, 나는 그것들을 나의 세상에 나타냅니다!”

말씀은 말합니다. “믿는 자에게는 모든 것이 가능하다.” 이렇게 말함으로 반응하십시오. “네, 주님. 내 안에서 일하시는 당신의 능력으로 말미암아 나의 잠재력은 한계가 없습니다. 나는 더 많은 일을 할 수 있도록 점점 증가하고 있는 능력을 가지고 있습니다.”

하나님의 말씀은 당신이 그 말씀에 올바르게 반응할 때에만 역사합니다. 맞습니다, 하나님의 말씀은 강력하고 하늘에 굳게 서 있습니다. 그러나 당신이 확언을 통해 말씀이 당신의 삶에 자리잡게 해야 합니다. “그가 친히 말씀하시기를… 그러므로 우리가 담대히 말하되…”(히 13:5-6). 할렐루야!

고백

나의 인생은 탁월함을 위해 하나님에 의해 계획되고 빚어졌습니다. 나는 신성한 건강과 번영과 의 안에서 걷습니다. 그리스도가 나의 능력이고 만족이시며, 그분을 통하여 나는 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다. 나는 내가 누구인지 압니다. 나는 내가 무엇을 가지고 있는지 압니다. 나는 내가 그리스도 안에서 모든 것을 할 수 있음을 압니다. 나의 잠재력은 무한합니다. 할렐루야!

SETTLE IT IN YOUR LIFE

Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89).

Never accept anything contrary to what the Word says about you. Never question the integrity of the Word. Believe, accept and affirm that you’re who God says you are, you have what He says you have, and can do what He says you can do.

Let the Word of God give you a new mentality, a new way of thinking. Don’t say you’re sick just because you felt the symptoms of sickness in your body. To talk that way is to take sides against the Word. The Word says if the Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (and thank God He does), that same Spirit shall vitalize your mortal body (Romans 8:11). Your confession, therefore, should always be, “I’m vitalized by the Holy Spirit; divine health is my nature and one of the many blessings I have and enjoy in Christ Jesus.”

If you’re experiencing weakness, doubt, discouragement or lack, don’t accept these anomalies as what your life should be; your life is for the glory of God. 1 Peter 2:9 (AMPC) says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the

virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” The Word of God is practicable; when you read a scripture like this, you must respond. You say, “Blessed be God! My life is full of the glory, beauty, wisdom and excellence of the Spirit, and I manifest these to my world!”

The Word says, “All things are possible to a believing one”; respond by saying, “Yes, Lord, because of your ability that’s at work in me, my potentials are limitless; I have an ever-increasing capacity to do more.”

The Word of God will work for you only when you give it the right response. Yes, God’s Word is allpowerful and settled in heaven, but you have to settle it in your life by your affirmations: “He has said…that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My life has been fashioned and planned by God for excellence. I walk in divine health, prosperity and in righteousness. Christ is my ability and competence;

and through Him, all things are possible to me. I know who I am, what I have, and can do all things in Christ; my potentials are limitless. Hallelujah!

Your Mind: The Instrument For Your Transformation

“…너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음(mind)을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라”(롬 12:1-2)

하나님의 말씀은 열매 맺고 생산적이며 효율적인 성공의 삶을 어떻게 살 수 있는지에 대해 매우 명확하게 말해줍니다. 그것은 바로 말씀으로 당신의 마음을 새롭게 함으로 가능합니다. 왜 당신의 마음이 그렇게도 중요할까요? 왜냐하면 하나님은 마음을 변화를 위한 도구로 만드셨기 때문입니다.

당신의 마음(mind; 생각)은 당신이 바라는 것은 무엇이나 만들어낼 수 있는 잠재력 안에서 무한합니다. 당신이 마음의 능력을 사용한다면, 당신의 가능성은 끝이 없습니다. 당신이 성취할 수 있는 것에는 한계가 없고, 당신이 인생에서 얼마나 높이 올라갈 수 있는지에 대한 제한도 전혀 없습니다.

당신의 번영은 근본적으로 당신의 마음의 내용과 질에 의해 결정됩니다. 왜냐하면 당신의 마음으로 당신의 모든 것을 바꿀 수 있기 때문입니다. 당신은 자신의 인생을 완벽히 조직하고 경영할 수 있으며, 하나님께서 당신에게 주신 특별한 삶과 축복을 최대치로 누릴 수 있습니다.

하나님의 말씀을 공부하고 묵상하므로 당신의 마음을 여십시오. 디모데후서 2:15은 말합니다. “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라.” 의식적인 말씀 묵상을 통해, 당신의 생각은 탁월함과 위대함과 성공을 위해 정리되고 프로그래밍 됩니다. 생각의 내용과 사고방식이 하나님의 생각과 당신의 삶을 향한 하나님의 완벽한 뜻과 일치하게 됩니다. 이것이 바로 변화를 가져옵니다.

오늘의 당신은 당신의 생각이 작용하고 표현된 것입니다. 당신은 하나님의 말씀을 통해 당신의 마음과 생각의 내용을 바꿀 수 있으며, 이 변화는 당신의 삶에서 업그레이드된 성품과 당신이 맺는 더 나은 결과들로 드러날 것입니다.

기도

YOUR MIND: THE INSTRUMENT FOR YOUR TRANSFORMATION

And be not conformed to this world:

but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

The Word of God is clear on how to have a fruitful, productive and efficient life of success:

it’s by the renewing of your mind with the Word.

Why is your mind so important? It’s because God has fashioned the mind as the instrument for your transformation.

Your mind is unlimited in its potential to create whatever you desire. When you put your mind-power to work, the possibilities are endless. There’re no limits to what you can achieve, and absolutely no restrictions to how high you can propel yourself in life.

Your prosperity is essentially determined by the content and quality of your mind, because with your mind, you can change anything about yourself: you can establish a perfect structure and administration for your life, and enjoy to the utmost the special life and blessings God has given you.

Open your mind to God’s Word through study and meditation. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Through conscious meditation on the Word, your mind is organized and programmed for excellence, greatness and success. Its contents and processes are synchronized with God’s thoughts and perfect will for your life. This is what brings about the transformation.

Who you are today is a function or expression of your mind-work. Through God’s Word, you can work on your mind and change its contents, and that change will show up in your life as an upgrade, reflecting in your character and the results you produce.

PRAYER

Blessed Lord, as I consciously meditate on the Scriptures, my mind is renewed, organized and programmed to produce excellence. My mind is guarded by your Word and completely yielded to the right ideas, thoughts, and messages; I walk in higher levels of glory, victory and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit – Your Advantage

“그러나 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능(능력, 효율, 힘)을 받으리니…”(행 1:8, AMPC)

당신의 삶, 경력, 사역, 사업, 직업 혹은 학업에서 당신이 깨고 싶은 한계가 있습니까? 당신이 세우고 싶은 신기록이 있습니까? 새로운 풍경을 펼치고 싶습니까? 당신이 성취하고자 하는 것은 무엇입니까? 당신 안에 계신 성령님이 당신의 유익입니다! 그분의 능력과 은혜는 당신이 특별하고 상상하지 못한 일을 할 수 있게 합니다!

만약 당신이 학교나 직장에서 어떠한 프로젝트나 과제를 맡았거나 혹은 지역 교회에서 전도의 사역을 담당하고 있다면, 그것을 성령의 능력과 지혜와 인도에 따라 진행하십시오. 당신은 그 맡은 일을 충분히 해낼 수 있음을 인식하십시오. 왜냐하면 더 크신 분이 당신 안에 계시며, 당신 안에서 당신을 통하여 일하고 계시기 때문입니다.

성경은 말합니다. “너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희에게 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니”(빌 2:13). 스가랴 4:6은 말합니다. “이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능력으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라.”

그 똑같은 성령님이 오늘 당신 안에 계시며, 당신의 삶에 하나님의 영광을 가져오셨고, 당신에게 인도와 방향을 주시고, “벽”을 뚫고 나가며 새로운 길을 개척할 수 있는 지혜와 능력도 함께 주십니다. 인간의 말로는 설명할 수 없는 일들을 행하도록 그분은 당신을 초자연적인 능력으로 채우십니다.

고린도후서 3:5은 말합니다. “우리가 무슨 일이든지 우리에게서 난 것 같이 스스로 만족할 (자격이 되거나 능력이 충분한) 것이 아니니 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님으로부터 나느니라.” 하나님을 송축합니다. 매일 스스로에게 말하십시오. “나는 내 안에 계신 성령님으로 말미암아 모든 것을 할 수 있다!”

당신의 삶에서 성령님으로 말미암은 사람, 능력, 은혜, 그리고 사역의 유익을 충분히 누리십시오! 그분은 당신의 유익이십니다. 그분은 보통 사람들이 보거나 생각하거나 말하거나 하지 못하는 일들을 당신으로 하여금 하게 하십니다.

기도

성령님을 송축합니다. 제가 얼마나 당신을 사랑하는지요! 나는 당신을 나의 유익으로, 내 삶에 절대적인 성공을 위해 필요한 단 한 가지로 인식합니다. 내 안에서 위대하게 일하시는 당신의 능력과 힘과 지혜를 감사드립니다. 나는 건강과 승리와 힘과 번영과 영광 안에서 걷습니다. 당신의 뜻이 내 안에서 온전해져서 내가 당신이 기뻐하시는 일을 하기 때문입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE HOLY SPIRIT?YOUR ADVANTAGE

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… (Acts 1:8 AMPC).

In your life, career, ministry, business, job or academics, are there limits you want to break?

Are there new records you want to set? Do you want to chart new vistas? What is it you want to achieve? The Holy Spirit in you is your advantage! There’s something about His power and grace that causes you to do the extraordinary and unimaginable!

If you were tasked with any project or assignment, maybe in your school, place of work or an evangelical assignment in your local church, execute it by the power, wisdom and guidance of the Spirit. Become conscious that you’re up to that task because of the greater One who lives in you; working in, and through you.

The Bible says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). Zechariah 4:6 says, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” That same Spirit is in you today, and has brought the glory of God into your life, giving you guidance and direction, with the wisdom and ability to walk through “walls” and blaze new trails. He’s filled you with supernatural ability to do things that can’t be humanly explained.

2 Corinthians 3:5 AMPC says, “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.” Blessed be God! Every day, tell yourself, “I can do all things by the Holy Spirit who lives in me!”

Take advantage of the person, power, grace and ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life! He’s your advantage. He causes you to see, think, say and do things ordinary men can’t.

PRAYER

Blessed Holy Spirit, how I love you! I acknowledge you as my advantage; the One I need to be an absolute success in life. Thank you for your ability, strength and wisdom that are mightily at work in me. I walk in health, victory, strength, prosperity and glory, as you perfect your will in me, causing me to do of your good pleasure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A COMPELLING DESIRE FOR CHANGE

…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working] (James 5:16 AMPC).

Any kind of positive change you might desire is possible in the Name of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Looking through the Scriptures, you’d find examples of people who were desperate for a change and what they did. You too can learn what they learnt, act as they did and get what they got.

Take Hannah for an example. For many years, she remained childless until she decided she must have a miracle. She went into the house of the Lord, fell on her face before God and prayed, made a vow and prevailed.

How compelled are you to change your financial status? How compelled are you to change your health situation? How compelling is your desire to move to the next level and experience the supernatural in your daily walk, in your ministry, academics, business or career?

Success and progress in any area requires very simple and basic principles. One of such is a strong compelling desire. Let your desire be strong enough to compel you to take the right and necessary actions. In Mark 5:25-29, we see another striking example of an actualised desire for change. It’s the account of the woman with the issue of blood who, having suffered for twelve long years, made up her mind to receive a miracle.

Compelled by her desire, she pressed through an impossible crowd to get to Jesus, defying the injunction that forbade her from having physical contact with other people. The haemorrhage she suffered made her ceremonially unclean; therefore, she stood the risk of being stoned to death if found in public, following the Jewish law of the day (Leviticus 15:25-27).

However, her desire for freedom, for her healing, compelled her to act her faith and she got a miracle.

In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “…all things are possible to him that believeth.” So, it makes no difference where you are in your life today, anything is possible. Act on God’s Word. Act your faith and be absolute about the result that you want, and it shall be so.

PRAYER

Thank you, dear Father, for my triumphant life in Christ; I’m a success; I walk in victory, divine wisdom, and the dominion of the Spirit, because my faith is active, and I see and live by the true light of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

축복 안에서 걸으십시오

Walking In Blessings

“악을 악으로, 욕을 욕으로 갚지 말고 도리어 복을 빌라 이를 위하여 너희가 부르심을 받았으니 이는 복을 이어받게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 3:9)

축복의 삶이 그리스도 예수 안에서 당신의 유산임을 아는 것이 너무 멋지지 않습니까? 이미 하나님은 당신을 측량할 수 없을 정도로 축복하셨습니다. 그분은 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복으로 당신을 축복하셨습니다(엡 1:3). 말씀에 따르면, 그분은 당신이 그분을 알기도 전부터 당신을 축복하셨습니다. 주님이 얼마나 자비로우신지요!

하나님은 당신을 볼 때, 오직 성공과 승리자와 탁월한 자로 보십니다. 베드로전서 2:9(AMPC)에서 그분은 말합니다. “그러나 너희는 선택 받은 민족이요 왕 같은 제사장이며, 구별되어 헌신된 나라요, [하나님께서] 친히 사신 특별한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 경이로운 행위를 내세우고 그분의 덕과 완벽함을 내보이게 하려 하심이라.” 하나님의 말씀은 당신의 삶에 대한 그분의 지혜의 말씀입니다. 지속적으로 이것을 말하십시오.

WALKING IN BLESSINGS

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing;

knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9).

Isn’t it great to know that the life of blessings is your heritage in Christ Jesus? God already blessed you beyond measure; He’s blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). According to the Scriptures, He blessed you ever before you knew Him. How gracious the Lord is!

However, it’s one thing to be called to inherit a blessing, and a completely different thing to actually walk in it. To walk in God’s blessings, you have to recognize that you’re blessed. You have to see yourself the way God sees you and call yourself what He calls you.

Whenever God looks at you, all He sees is a success, a victor, an excellent person. In 1 Peter 2:9 AMPC, He says “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” God’s Word is His Word of wisdom about your life; speak it continually.

1 Corinthians 2:12-13 says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak….” Your affirmation of blessings establishes them in your life. You have to declare that you’re the righteousness of God, even if you’re feeling condemned. You have to declare that you have and live in divine health, even if you’re feeling a pain in your body.

Always declare your state and estate in Christ.

You’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours.” You’ve been called to a life of glory, honour, dominion and power; know it, affirm it, and walk accordingly.

CONFESSION

I’m what God says I am; He’s made me a package of divine blessings, the embodiment of the fullness of His blessings! I refuse to walk in lack, poverty, disease, or anything that’s of the devil, for I’ve been called to inherit a blessing. Therefore, I live up to my calling. Amen.

성령을 “나누어주십시오”

“Distributing” The Holy Ghost

“그리고 하나님께서도 표징과 기이한 일과 여러 가지 기적을 보이시고, 또 자기의 뜻을 따라, 성령의 선물을 나누어주심으로써, 그들과 함께 증언하여 주셨습니다.”(히 2:4, 새번역)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 “선물(gifts)”이라는 단어는 사실 선물이 아니라, “나누어주신 것(distributions)”으로 번역되어야 합니다. 왜냐하면 이 단어는 그리스어 “메리스모스(merismos)”에서 왔기 때문입니다. 듀에-랭스(Douay-Rheims) 번역본이 정확하게 이 구절을 번역하였습니다. “하나님도 표적들과 기사들과 여러 가지 능력과 및 자기의 뜻을 따라 성령이 나누어주신 것으로써(the distribution of the Holy Spirit) 그들과 함께 증언하셨느니라.”

성경에서 말하는 “성령이 나누어주신 것”은 무엇을 의미합니까? 예수님이 요한복음 20:22에서 행하신 일을 보면 알 수 있습니다. 성경은 그분이 제자들을 향하여 숨을 내쉬며 “성령을 받으라”고 말했다고 합니다. 예수님은 제자들에게 성령을 “나누어주셨습니다.” 할렐루야!

“DISTRIBUTING” THE HOLY GHOST

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

(Hebrews 2:4).

The word translated “gifts” above shouldn’t have been translated gifts, but “distributions,” because it’s the Greek “merismos.” The Douay-Rheims translation actually renders it correctly. It says, “God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.”

What does the Scripture mean by “distribution of the Holy Ghost?” What Jesus did in John 20:22 gives us an idea. The Bible says He blew on His disciples and said, “…Receive ye the Holy Ghost” (John 20:22). He “distributed” or ministered the Holy Ghost to them.

Hallelujah!

We’re ministers of the New Testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:6). We’re distributors and administrators of the Holy Ghost.

Recall what we read in our theme verse! Who were those that performed the signs and wonders, and special miracles? It was the Apostles! God did signs, wonders, miracles, and “distributions of the Holy Ghost” through them.

The Bible says we’re stewards or ministers of the New Testament, of the mysteries of Christ (1 Corinthians 4:1). Hallelujah! We “serve” the Spirit, the blessings of the New Testament, like that waiter who serves in a restaurant. So, like Paul, you can say, “I’m a minister of the Spirit.”

You can lay hands on someone and say, “Receive the Holy Spirit” and the person will be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit from you can go into five, ten, hundred people and more. Glory to God!

This is what He’s called us to do as His ministers and ambassadors; we’re bearers of the divine order.

CONFESSION

I’m the bearer of eternal verities, a distributor and an administrator of the Holy Ghost. I’m constantly filled with the Spirit; therefore, everywhere I go, I serve the blessings of the New Testament, filling many with the Holy Ghost and converting them into the Kingdom of God. Amen.

He Accomplished His Purpose

“이 비밀은 만세와 만대로부터 감추어졌던 것인데 이제는 그의 성도들에게 나타났고… 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:26-27)

예수님께서 자신의 일을 완수하셨다고 언급하신 세 개의 성경구절을 살펴보겠습니다. 첫 번째는 요한복음 17:4에서 아버지께 말씀하시는 구절입니다. “아버지께서 내게 하라고 주신 일을 내가 이루어…”

두 번째는 십자가 위에서 이렇게 말씀하실 때입니다. “다 이루었다”(요 19:30). 세 번째는 히브리서 10:12-13에 다음과 같이 기록되어 있습니다. “오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님 우편에 앉으사 그 후에 자기 원수들을 자기 발등상이 되게 하실 때까지 기다리시나니.” 오늘날 주 예수님은 앉아서 원수들이 자기 발 아래 굴복하게 될 때까지 기다리고 계십니다.

만약 예수님이 자신의 목적을 완수하지 못하셨다면, 그분은 하나님 우편에 앉아있지 못하셨을 것입니다. 그러나 문제는 많은 사람들이 그분이 이 땅에 무엇을 하기 위해 오셨는지 전혀 알지 못했다는 것입니다. 당신이 에베소서 3:3-5을 읽어보면, 예수님이 이 땅에 오신 진짜 목적은 신비로 감추어져 있었음을 발견할 것입니다. 메시아와 그분이 언제 이 땅에 오실지에 대해 기록된 많은 예언이 있었습니다. 그리고 그분은 기록된 모든 놀라운 일들을 다 이루셨습니다. 그러나 그분의 목적은 예언자들에게 여전히 비밀로 남아있었습니다.

고백

하나님의 영광이 나의 재정, 건강, 사업, 가정, 사역에서 드러납니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도가 건강하고 형통하고 생기 넘치는 삶, 그리고 사탄과 상황을 다스리는 성공적인 삶에 대한 나의 소망입니다. 할렐루야!

HE ACCOMPLISHED HIS PURPOSE

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints… which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27).

Let’s review three portions of scripture that refer to Jesus accomplishing His work. The first is in John 17:4, where He said to the Father, “…I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” The second occasion was on the Cross, when He said, “…It is finished…” (John 19:30). The third one is in Hebrews 10:12-13 and states, “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.” The Lord Jesus, today, is seated and waiting until His enemies are made His footstool.

He wouldn’t be sitting if He hadn’t accomplished His purpose. But the problem has been that most people never knew what He came to do. When you read Ephesians 3:3-5, you’d discover that His real purpose for coming was a mystery. There are many written prophesies about the Messiah and when He’d be born into this world; and He fulfilled all of the amazing things written of Him. But His purpose remained a mystery to the Prophets.

What was this mystery? It’s what we read in our opening verse: Christ IN you, the hope of glory! This is the mystery which was hidden from ages and from generations, but has now been made manifest to His saints. Glory to God!

So, there’s an assurance, a guarantee that your life is glorious, because Christ is in you! That’s your hope for a healthy, prosperous, vibrant and successful life! You have a right to walk out of any predicament;

you can walk out of poverty, lack and want, because of what Christ has accomplished in your behalf. What you need is to become ever more conscious of His presence and glory in your life.

CONFESSION

The glory of God is revealed in my finances, my health, business, family and ministry. Christ in me is my hope for a healthy, prosperous, vibrant, and a successful life of dominion over Satan and circumstances. Hallelujah!

The Knowledge Of “The Fathers”

“아비들아 내가 너희에게 쓰는 것은 너희가 태초부터 계신 이를 알았음이요…”(요일 2:13)

성경은 말합니다. “이와 같이 우리도 어렸을 때에 이 세상의 초등학문 아래에 있어서 종 노릇 하였더니”(갈 4:3). 이 구절은 그리스어로 “네피오스(nepios)”, 즉 영적인 아기들에 대해 말하고 있습니다. 그들은 오늘은 감기로 넘어지고, 그 다음은 머리가 아프고, 내일은 심장의 문제가 있는 사람들입니다.

그러나 당신은 지식을 통해 그 단계에서 벗어날 수 있습니다. 그러기 위해서는 필요한 훈련이 있습니다. 그 훈련이 당신에게 그리스어로 “에피그노시스(epignosis)”, 즉 하나님에 대한 정확하고 정밀한 지식, 친밀함을 동반한 온전한 지식을 가져다 줍니다. 이것을 우리는 아비들의 지식이라고 부릅니다.

교회를 위한 기도에서, 사도 바울은 성령의 인도하심에 따라 우리에게 하나님의 지식을 어떻게 얻는지 보여줍니다. 그는 말했습니다. “우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광의 아버지께서 지혜와 계시의 영을 너희에게 주사…”(엡 1:17-18). 당신이 말씀을 묵상할 때, 왕국의 삶에 관한 비밀과 말씀의 실재 안에서 걷는 방법이 당신에게 밝혀질 것입니다. 그때부터 당신은 영광 안에서 상황을 다스리며 사는 법을 알게 됩니다.

당신 안에 있는 그 생명은 연약함으로 오염될 수 없습니다. 그 생명은 사탄과 이 세상의 어떠한 것보다 우세합니다. 그러므로 당신이 질병의 증상을 느낄 때 떠들어대기 보다는 오히려 담대하게 이렇게 선언하십시오. “나는 하나님의 생명을 내 안에 가지고 있고, 그 생명은 내 모든 존재에 스며들어 모든 불법을 다 제거한다.”

이것을 반복해서 선포한다면, 얼마 지나지 않아 당신은 실제적으로 하나님의 능력이 당신의 온몸을 타고 흘러가는 것을 경험할 것입니다. 이것이 바로 “아비들”이 환경과 상황들에 반응하는 방법입니다. 그 방법은 바로 말씀입니다! 그들은 세상의 것들의 노예가 아닙니다. 그들은 그 위에서 살아갑니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

기도

THE KNOWLEDGE OF “THE FATHERS”

The Bible says, “Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world” (Galatians 4:3). This is referring to those who are “ne?pios” (Greek), spiritual babies; they’re the ones down with the flu today, and then headaches and heart trouble tomorrow.

But you can come out of that level through knowledge. There’s a training that’s required; that training brings you into “epignosis” (Greek); the exact or precise knowledge of God, full knowledge with intimacy. It’s called the knowledge of the fathers.

In His prayer for the Church, the Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, shows us how to get this knowledge of God.

He says, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17). As you meditate on the Word, secrets about the Kingdom-life and how to walk in the reality of the Word are unveiled to you. From then on, you know how to live in glory, with dominion over circumstances.

I would to God more of God’s people would come to the realization of who they are and what they have in Christ Jesus! How could you have the very life of God in you and be down with kidney problems, heart trouble, or any other kind of sickness or disease? It’s an anomaly; it’s not supposed to be.

The life in you can’t be sullied by infirmities; it’s superior to Satan and the elements of this world.

Therefore, rather than be agitated when you feel the symptoms of sickness, boldly declare, “I have the life of God in me, and that life permeates my whole being and gets rid of all ailments and maladies.”

Make such declarations again and again, and soon enough, you’ll literally experience a surge of God’s power coursing through your whole being. This is how “the fathers” respond to circumstances and situations;

it’s with the Word! They’re not slaves to the elements of this world; they live above them. Blessed be God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your amazing blessings in my life. Thank you for giving me faith in my spirit through the Word. Thank you for bringing me into an awareness of truth, to walk in victory, glory, dominion and honour, forever, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Saints At Work

“그가 어떤 사람은 사도로, 어떤 사람은 선지자로, 어떤 사람은 복음 전하는 자로, 어떤 사람은 목사와 교사로 삼으셨으니 이는 성도를 온전하게 하여 봉사(ministry)의 일을 하게 하며…”(엡 4:11-12)

하나님이 생각하시고 기대하시는 바는 우리 중 몇몇만 사역(ministry)의 일에 효과적이고, 교회에 있는 다른 사람들은 관중으로 남아있는 것이 아닙니다. 사역의 일은 모든 그리스도인을 위한 것입니다. 고린도후서 5:18에서 성경은 말합니다. “모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며 그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분(ministry)을 주셨으니”

밑줄 친 부분을 주목하십시오. 하나님은 단지 사도나 예언자나 교사나 전도자나 목사만이 아니라 우리에게 화해의 사역을 주셨습니다. 한 사람도 예외가 아닙니다. 하나님의 말씀은 우리가 왕국의 삶을 살고, 이 세상을 다스리며, 그분의 의를 이 땅과 사람들의 심령에 세우도록 주어졌습니다.

우리가 사역의 일을 할 때, 세상은 우리에게서 흘러 넘치는 영광과 성공과 승리와 번영의 삶에 대해 궁금해할 것입니다. 이는 우리가 그분의 대사들이기 때문입니다. 우리가 어두움 가운데 빛이기 때문입니다. 지금이 바로, 당신이 당신 주변에 신성한 생명을 가지고 있지 않은 자들에게 초자연적인 능력과 나타남 가운데 복음을 전할 때, 그들이 당신을 보고 혹시 당신이 천사가 아닐까 의아해할 때입니다. 성경 시대에 사람들이 스데반을 보고 말했듯이 말입니다(사도행전 6:15을 읽어보십시오).

사도행전 6:5에서 스데반은 믿음과 성령이 충만한 자였다고 말합니다. 그는 사도나 예언자가 아니었습니다. 그는 초대교회에서 집사로 부름받았고, 믿음과 능력과 하나님의 지혜가 충만한 자였습니다.

고백

SAINTS AT WORK

And he gave some, apostles;

and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry… (Ephesians 4:11-12).

God’s idea and expectation isn’t just for some of us to be effective in the work of the ministry, while some others in the Church are spectators. The work of the ministry is for every Christian. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:18, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.”

Notice the underlined: God gave US?not just the apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors? the ministry of reconciliation! No one is left out in this.

His purpose in teaching us His Word is for us to be raised to live the Kingdom life; to subdue this world and establish His righteousness in the earth and in the hearts of men.

As we carry out the work of the ministry, the world will wonder at the life of glory, success, victory and prosperity exuding from us. This is because we’re His ambassadors; the light in the midst of darkness.

This is the time for those around you who don’t have the divine life to wonder whether you’re an angel, as you minister the Gospel to them in such power and demonstration of the supernatural. They said the same of Stephen in Bible days (Read Acts 6:15).

The preceding verse 5 says Stephen was a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost; he was neither an apostle nor a prophet. He was made a Deacon in the early Church, being full of faith and power and the wisdom of God.

This is your time to shine ever so brightly with the light of the Gospel, bringing men and women into the Kingdom. Everywhere you are, let men see your good works and glorify your Father, who is in heaven. As the Bible says, “…the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60:3).

In other words, as you manifest Christ everywhere, bearing the truth of His glorious Gospel, they’ll turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m Christ’s ambassador, the bearer of His truth and conveyor of eternal life. Through me, the light of His glorious Gospel is manifest, and His glory is revealed and men are turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God. Hallelujah!
