Manifest His Glory
“그러나 너희는 선택 받은 민족이요 왕 같은 제사장이며, 구별되어 헌신된 나라요, [하나님께서] 친히 사신 특별한 백성이니, 이는 너희를 어두움에서 불러내어 그의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분의 경이로운 행위를 내세우고 그분의 덕과 완벽함을 내보이게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 2:9, AMPC)
하나님의 말씀의 가장 아름다운 계시들 중 하나가 바로 새로운 피조물인 우리는 이 어둡고 부정적인 세상에서 하나님의 영광이라는 진리입니다. 우리는 세상의 어둠에 대한 해결책입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “보라, 어두움이 땅을 덮을 것이며 심한 어두움이 백성을 덮으리라…”(사 60:2)
세상의 끔찍한 어둠은 이제 당신이 세상을 비추고 환하게 할 때라는 것을 알려주는 징후입니다. 로마서 8:19은 말합니다. “피조물이 고대하는 바는 하나님의 아들들이 나타나는 것이니.” 세상은 당신이 하나님의 영광을 나타내고, 타락과 사탄의 부패한 영향력으로부터 해방시켜 주기를 기다리고 있습니다.
시편 74:20은 이 땅의 어두운 곳에 포악한 자의 처소가 가득하다고 말합니다. 이는 오늘날 세상에 만연한 영적 어두움과 악함에 대해 말하는 것입니다. 그러나 당신이 나타나면, 어두움과 악함은 사라집니다. 당신이 예수 그리스도의 복음의 빛을 가지고 구원받지 못한 자들의 세상으로 가면 그들에게 구원이 임합니다.
당신은 자신이 속한 세상에 의미와 방향성과 아름다움을 부여합니다. 당신은 어두운 세상의 빛이며 이 땅의 소금입니다. 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라”(요 20:21). 예수님은 우리 세상에 있는 자들에게 영광과 탁월함과 삶의 의미를 주기 위해 우리를 보내셨습니다. 이것이 당신의 사역이자 당신의 삶입니다.
기도
나는 하나님의 영광의 표현이자 탁월함입니다. 그분의 광채와 탁월함과 완전함이 나를 통해 나타납니다. 오늘날 세상의 어두움과 환난에도 불구하고 나는 정복자보다 더 나은 자입니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도가 영광의 소망이시기 때문입니다! 나는 나의 건강, 학업, 일, 사업, 가족 및 재정에 있어 영광 가운데 행합니다! 하나님을 송축합니다!

MANIFEST HIS GLORY
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC).
One of the most beautiful revelations in the Word of God is the truth that as new creations, we’re the glory of God in a dark and cynical world. We’re the solution to the darkness in the world. The Bible says, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people…” (Isaiah 60:2).
The gross darkness in the world is the indication that it’s your time to shine and light up your world. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” The world is waiting for you to manifest the glory of God, to free it from decay and corrupting influences of Satan.
Psalm 74:20 says the dark places of the earth are filled with the habitations of cruelty. That’s talking about spiritual darkness and wickedness that’s prevalent in today’s world. But when you show up, the darkness and cruelty are dispelled. When you come into the world of the unsaved, bearing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, salvation comes to them.
You give meaning, direction and beauty to your world. You’re the light in a dark world and the salt of the earth. Jesus said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). He sent us to bring glory, excellence and meaning to the lives of those in our world. This is your ministry. This is your life.
CONFESSION
I’m the manifestation, the out-shining of the glory of God. His splendour, excellence and perfection are expressed through me. And despite the darkness and hardship in today’s world, I’m more than a conqueror, for Christ in me is the hope of glory! I walk in the glory—in my health, academics, job, business, family and finances. Praise God!
