우리는 복음을 전해야만 합니다
We’ve Got To Preach It
“영생의 소망을 위함이라 이 영생은 거짓이 없으신 하나님의 영원 전부터 약속하신 것인데 자기 때에 자기의 말씀을 전도로 나타내셨으니 이 전도는 우리 구주 하나님이 명하신 대로 내게 맡기신 것이라”(딛 1:2-3)
우리는 말씀을 전해야 합니다. 우리가 전하지 않으면 사람들은 말씀을 듣고 구원받을 기회를 절대 가질 수 없습니다.
로마서 10:13-14은 말합니다. “누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라 그런즉 그들이 믿지 아니하는 이를 어찌 부르리요 듣지도 못한 이를 어찌 믿으리요 전파하는 자가 없이 어찌 들으리요.” 전하는 자가 없다면 사람들은 복음을 들을 수 없습니다. 이것이 우리가 모든 곳에서 복음을 전하도록 강권하시는 이유입니다. 사도 바울은 이렇게 말했습니다. “내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라 먼저는 유대인에게요 그리고 헬라인에게로다”(롬 1:16).
복음 없이는 구원도 없습니다. 사람들을 문제, 고통, 죄, 죽음에서 벗어나게 하는 하나님의 능력은 그리스도의 복음 안에 있습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절은 하나님께서 세상이 시작되기도 전에 영원한 생명을 약속하셨다고 말합니다. 그리고 이제 그분은 약속을 성취하셨고, 그분의 말씀을 나타내셨고, 복음 전파를 통해 영생을 받을 수 있게 하셨습니다.
우리가 신성한 명령을 맡아 전달하는 자가 되었다는 것이 얼마나 축복인지 보십시오. 우리는 하나님의 실재를 전달하는 대사들입니다! 우리가 사람들에게 복음을 전하기 전까지 그들이 복음을 접할 수 있는 다른 방법은 없습니다. 당신의 삶 전부를 복음에 두십시오. 진정으로 중요한 것은 복음이기 때문입니다. 당신의 세상과 그 너머에 있는 복음을 듣도록 예정된 사람들에게 복음이 전달되게 하십시오.
고백
나는 복음 안에서 그리스도의 대사입니다. 나는 주님께 열정적이고, 항상 영 안에서 활기차고 빛나며, 나의 온 마음과 생각과 심령을 다해 그분을 섬깁니다. 복음은 나를 통해 구원받도록 예정된 자들에게 전해지고 있습니다. 그들은 어둠에서 하나님의 아들들이 누리는 영광스러운 자유로 옮겨집니다. 할렐루야!

WE’VE GOT TO PREACH IT
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour (Titus 1:2-3).
We’ve got to preach the Word; we’ve got to tell the untold, or they’ll never have the chance to believe it and be saved. Romans 10:13-14 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Without a preacher, they can’t hear the Gospel. This is why we’re compelled to preach the Gospel everywhere. The Apostle Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
There’s no salvation without the Gospel. The power of God to bring someone out of trouble, distress, sin and death is in the Gospel of Christ. We read in our theme verse that God promised eternal life before the world began; and now, He has fulfilled His promise, manifested His Word, and made eternal life available through the preaching of the Gospel.
See how blessed we are to be the custodians and bearers of the divine order; ambassadors of divine realities! They’re not going to get the Gospel any other way, until we preach it to them. Put your whole life into this, as it’s all that truly matters. Ensure the Gospel gets to as many as have been ordained to receive it in your world and in the regions beyond.
CONFESSION
I’m an ambassador of Christ in the Gospel. I’m fervent for the Lord, vibrant, exuberant and aglow in the spirit always, serving Him with my whole heart, soul and mind. Through me, the Gospel is reaching many who have been ordained for salvation; they’re transferred from darkness into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!
