Understand And Speak The Word
“내 백성이 지식이 없으므로 망하는도다 네가 지식을 버렸으니 나도 너를 버려 내 제사장이 되지 못하게 할 것이요 네가 네 하나님의 율법을 잊었으니 나도 네 자녀들을 잊어버리리라”(호 4:6)
그리스도인들 가운데 하나님의 말씀과 자신의 믿음에 반대되는 것들을 삶에서 경험하는 사람들이 있습니다. 예를 들어, 그들은 그리스도인으로서 자신이 사탄에게 억압받아서는 안 된다는 것을 믿지만 사탄의 공격과 조종을 경험합니다. 또 몸이 아프거나 질병이 있어서는 안 된다고 믿지만 그들은 좋은 건강 상태를 거의 경험하지 못합니다. 무언가 잘못된 것입니다.
이러한 모순된 경험을 다루기 위해 점검해야 할 두 가지 중요한 영역이 있습니다. 첫 번째는 말씀에 대한 정확한 이해입니다. 마태복음 13장에서 예수님은 씨 뿌리는 자의 비유를 가르치시면서 이해의 중요성을 강조하셨습니다(마 13:3-9).
예수님은 비유를 해석해 주시면서 길가에 떨어진 씨앗은 하나님의 말씀을 듣고도 이해하지 못하는 자를 의미한다고 설명하셨습니다. 그들이 이해하지 못하므로 사탄이 즉시 와서 그들의 심령에서 말씀을 빼앗아갑니다(마 13:19). 말씀에 대한 정확한 이해는 매우 중요합니다. 당신이 말씀을 이해하면, 그 말씀을 올바르게 적용하여 결과를 얻을 수 있습니다. 잠언 4:7은 말합니다. “… 네가 얻은 모든 것을 가지고 명철(understanding)을 얻을지니라.”
두 번째는 당신이 하는 말입니다. 당신의 말이 하나님의 말씀과 일치하지 않는다면, 당신이 하는 말이 겉으로 드러나는 삶 역시 하나님의 말씀과 일치하지 않을 것입니다. 다윗은 “내 혀는 글솜씨가 뛰어난 서기관의 붓끝과 같도다”(시 45:1)라고 말했습니다. 당신의 혀는 당신의 마음에 하나님의 말씀을 새기는 펜입니다. 당신이 말하는 것은 당신의 마음에 새겨지며, 그 마음에 가득한 것을 당신의 입으로 말합니다.
항상 말씀을 공부하고 말씀을 들으십시오. 당신의 마음과 영을 말씀으로 폭격하고 말씀을 따라 말하십시오! 당신의 삶을 통해 말씀이 분명히 보여질 것입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!
고백
나는 하나님의 말씀과 왕국의 신비에 대한 이해를 가지고 있습니다. 그러므로 지금도 하나님의 말씀은 내 안에서 효과적이며 그것이 말하는 바를 생산해내고 있습니다. 나는 영광과 탁월함 안에서 행하고, 승리와 성공과 진보 가운데 나의 세상에 하나님의 은혜를 나타냅니다. 할렐루야!

UNDERSTAND AND SPEAK THE WORD
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… (Hosea 4:6).
There’re Christians whose experiences in life are an antithesis of their faith and the Word of God. For example, they may believe that as Christians, they’re not supposed to be oppressed by Satan, yet they experience continual satanic attacks and manipulations. They believe they aren’t supposed to be sick or have infirmities in their bodies, yet they’re hardly in good health. Something is wrong.
There’re two important areas to examine in dealing with such inconsistencies. First is the accurate understanding of the Word. In Matthew 13, Jesus emphasized the importance of understanding when He taught on the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:3-9).
In His interpretation of the parable, He explained that the seeds that fell by the wayside represent those who hear the Word of God and don’t understand it. Due to their lack of understanding, Satan comes immediately and steals the Word from their hearts (Matthew 13:19). An accurate understanding of the Word is so important. When you understand the Word, you’re able to apply it rightly to produce results for you. Proverbs 4:7 says, “…with all thy getting get understanding.”
The second thing is your communication; the words you speak. If your words are inconsistent with the Word of God, your life, which is the outward manifestation of your words, will also be inconsistent. The Psalmist said, “…my tongue is the pen of a ready writer” (Psalm 45:1). Your tongue is the pen that writes God’s Word on your heart. What you say is written on your heart, and out of that abundance, your mouth speaks.
Always study and listen to the Word; bombard your mind and your spirit with the Word, and then speak accordingly! Your life will be the manifestation of the Word. Praise God!
