하나님은 우리 안에 살고 행하십니다
He Lives And Walks In Us

“너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신 성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 너희 자신의 것이 아니라”(고전 6:19)

출애굽기 25:8에서 하나님은 그분의 백성들 가운데 거하고 싶은 열망을 표현하셨습니다. “내가 그들 중에 거할 성소를 그들이 나를 위하여 짓되” 그분이 “내가 그들을 방문할 것”이라고 말씀하지 않았다는 것에 주목하십시오. 하나님은 방문하신다고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 “내가 그들 중에 거할 것”이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

모세는 하나님의 지시에 순종하여 이스라엘 자손들을 불러모아 하나님이 자신에게 주신 식양과 계획에 따라 아름다운 성소를 건설하는데 필요한 모든 제물을 가져오게 했지만, 그것만으로는 충분하지 않았습니다. 하나님은 새로운 성소를 원하셨고 다윗에게 그 비전을 보여주시며 디자인과 사양을 알려주셨습니다.

다윗은 흥분되었고 그 성전을 건축하기 위해 많은 양의 금과 은을 내놓았습니다. 그럼에도 그 성전을 건설하도록 허락받은 사람은 그의 아들인 솔로몬이었고, 그래서 솔로몬은 장엄한 성전을 완성했습니다. 그러나 하나님은 여전히 만족하지 못하셨습니다. 성경은 말씀합니다. “그러나 지극히 높으신 이는 손으로 지은 곳에 계시지 아니하나니 선지자가 말한 바”(행 7:48)

그 후 예수님이 등장하셔서 “…내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마 16:18)라고 말씀하셨습니다. “교회(church)”로 번역된 말은 “부름을 받은 사람들의 집회나 모임”이라는 뜻입니다. 그러므로 성전은 물리적인 건물이 아닌 하나님의 부름을 받고 선택을 받은 인간의 살아 있는 장막입니다.

에베소서 2:19-22(NIV 직역)은 말씀합니다. “따라서 너희는 더는 외국인이나 나그네가 아니라 하나님의 사람들의 동료 시민이요 친히 모퉁잇돌이 되신 그리스도 예수와 더불어서 사도들과 선지자들의 기초 위에 세워진 그분의 집에 속한 지체들이다. 그리스도 예수 안에서 온 건물이 함께 연결되어 주님 안에 거룩한 전이 되도록 세워진다. 그리고 그분 안에서 너희도 하나님께서 그분의 영으로 말미암아 사시는 거처가 되도록 함께 지어지고 있다.” 우리는 성령을 통해 지어진 하나님의 처소입니다! 자신의 백성 가운데 거하시려는 하나님의 비전이 우리 안에서 이루어졌습니다.

고린도후서 6:16은 말씀합니다. “…우리가 하나님의 성전이라 이와 같이 하나님께서 이르시되 내가 그들 가운데 거하며 두루 행하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 나의 백성이 되리라 하셨느니라” 우리 각자가 성령님이 거하시는 성전입니다. 성령님은 우리 안에서 살고 행하십니다. 세상의 기초를 놓던 때부터 품고 계셨던 하나님의 꿈이 지금 우리 안에서 성취되었습니다. 여러 시대와 세대로부터 감추어졌던 비밀이 이제는 나타나고 성취되었습니다. 그 비밀은 당신 안에 계신 그리스도 곧 영광의 소망입니다(골 1:26-27). 할렐루야!

기도
귀하신 아버지, 아버지를 경배하고 흠모합니다. 저를 아버지의 거처로 삼아주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 제 안에 사시면서 아버지의 온전한 뜻 안에서 저를 보호하시고 인도하시고 이끄시는 성령님을 인정합니다. 제 삶을 아버지의 임재의 영광으로 아름답게 해 주셔서 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE LIVES AND WALKS IN US

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own (1 Corinthians 6:19).

In Exodus 25:8, God expressed His desire to dwell in the midst of His people. He said, “…let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” Notice He didn’t say, “…that I may visit them,” no; not a visit. He said, “…that I may dwell among them.”

Moses obeyed God’s instruction, and rallied the children of Israel to bring all the necessary offerings to build a beautiful sanctuary in accordance with the pattern and plan God gave him. However, that wasn’t good enough. God wanted a new sanctuary and showed David a vision of the new sanctuary; He gave him the design and specifications.

David was excited, and laid down much gold and silver for the building of the temple. Nevertheless, it was Solomon, his son, who was approved of God to build the temple, and he built God a magnificent temple. Again, God was still not satisfied. The Bible says, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet” (Acts 7:48).

Then Jesus came on the scene and said, “…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The word translated, “Church” means “assembly or congregation of the called out ones.” It’s therefore not a physical building, but a living tabernacle of human beings, called and chosen of God.

Ephesians 2:21-22 NIV says, “In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” We’re God’s habitation through the Spirit! His vision to dwell in the midst of His people has been realized in us.

2 Corinthians 6:16 says, “…for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Each one of us is a temple of the Holy Spirit. He lives and walks in us. God’s dream from the foundation of the world is now fulfilled in us. The mystery that was hidden from ages and generations has now been made manifest, and fulfilled. The mystery is, Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:26-27). Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Precious Father, I worship and adore you; thank you for making me your dwelling place. I acknowledge your Spirit living in me, protecting, guiding, and leading me in your perfect will. Thank you for beautifying my life with the glory of your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Love And Value Yourself

“이는 너의 믿음의 교제가 그리스도 예수 안에서 네 안에 있는 모든 선한 것을 인식함으로 인하여 효과가 있게 하려 함이라.”(몬 1:6, 한글킹제임스)

그리스도 예수 안에서 새로운 피조물인 당신은 독특합니다. 당신 안에는 주님이 당신의 삶을 위해 미리 정해 놓으신 선한 것들이 아주 많이 있습니다. 그분은 당신을 하찮은 존재로 만드시지 않으셨습니다. 당신은 그분께 소중한 존재입니다.

당신은 하나님의 영광을 발산하기 때문에 자신을 사랑하고 소중하게 여겨야 합니다. 하나님은 오늘날 당신을 통해 이 땅에서 통치하시고 그분의 의를 확립하시며 전파하십니다. 요한계시록 5:10(한글킹제임스)은 그리스도께서 우리를 “…왕들과 제사장들로 삼으셨고 우리가 땅위에서 통치할 것이라”고 말씀합니다. 고린도전서 15:25은 “…그가 모든 원수를 그 발 아래에 둘 때까지 반드시 왕노릇 하시리니”라고 말씀합니다. 예수님은 오늘날 이 땅에 육체로 계시지 않지만, 당신을 통해 다스리십니다. 그리스도 안에서 당신은 하나님께 왕과 제사장이 되었습니다(계 1:6). 복되신 하나님의 영광스러운 복음이 당신에게 맡겨졌습니다.

주님이 당신을 그만큼 의지하고, 당신을 통해 다스리며 영광스러운 복음을 당신에게 맡기셨다면, 당신은 그분께 진정 소중한 존재입니다. 그러므로 당신도 똑같이 자신을 소중하게 여기십시오. 당신은 실제로 특별한 존재이므로 그렇게 생각하고 말하고 행하며 살아가십시오. 당신은 신성한 지식과 왕국의 실재를 맡은 청지기입니다. 이 얼마나 대단한 일입니까!

성경은 당신을 통해 모든 곳에 하나님의 아름다운 지식의 향기가 퍼진다고 말씀합니다. “항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후 2:14) 세상에 말씀을 알려주는 것이 당신의 사역이자 부르심이며 책임입니다. 그러므로 하나님을 사랑하고, 그분이 지으신 존재인 당신도 사랑하십시오!

인생의 모든 순간을 누리십시오. 당신과 주변 사람들에게 감사하십시오. 삶에 대해 긍정적인 방향으로 마음을 기울이십시오. 그러면 그 결과에 놀라게 될 것입니다. 당신은 하나님의 최고입니다.

다른 사람들이 당신에 대해 말하는 것으로 결코 자신을 판단하지 마십시오. 중요한 것은 하나님께서 당신을 어떻게 생각하느냐입니다. 아십니까? 그분은 당신을 소중하게 생각하십니다. 그래서 당신에게 엄청나게 투자를 하셨던 것입니다. 할렐루야!

기도
복되신 아버지, 제가 아버지의 영광과 은혜의 표현이며 제 안에서 그리고 저를 통해 아버지의 의가 드러난다는 사실을 알게 되어 기쁩니다. 저는 그리스도 안에 있는 승리의 삶을 의식하며 걸으며 하나님의 덕과 완벽함을 보여주고 저의 영광스러운 유업을 누립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

LOVE AND VALU  YOURSELF

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus (Philemon 1:6).

As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you’re peculiar. There’re so many good things inside you, and there’s so much that the Lord has ordained your life for. He didn’t create you for nothing; you’re valuable to Him. Therefore, you must love and value yourself, because you exude the glory of God.

God reigns, establishes, and spreads His righteousness on earth today through you. Revelation 5:10 says Christ has made us “…kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” In 1 Corinthians 15:25, we read that “…he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.” Jesus isn’t physically present on earth today, yet He’s reigning through you. In Christ, you’ve been made a king-priest unto God (Revelation 1:6). The glorious Gospel of the blessed God has been committed to your trust.

Now, if the Lord would rely on you this much, reigning through you, and committing such glorious Gospel to your trust, then you’re truly valuable to Him. Therefore, accord yourself the same value. Think, talk, walk, and live as someone special, for indeed you are. You’re a custodian of divine knowledge and of Kingdom realities; how big that is!

The Bible says God spreads the beautiful and pleasant fragrance of His knowledge through you in every place: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14). It’s your ministry, calling, and responsibility to make the Word known to the world. Therefore, love Him, and love what He made—YOU!

Enjoy every moment of your life. Appreciate you and appreciate others around you. Challenge your mind in the positive direction of life and you’ll be amazed at the results. You’re God’s best.

Never judge yourself by what people say about you; what matters is what God thinks of you. And you know what? He thinks highly of you, which is why He invested so much in you. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I rejoice to know that I’m the expression of your glory and grace, and that your righteousness is revealed in and through me. I walk in the consciousness of my triumphant life in Christ, enjoying my glorious inheritance, whilst displaying the virtues and perfections of divinity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성령에 의한 신성한 교통
Divine Transportation By The Holy Ghost

“주의 영이 나를 들어올려 데리고 가시는데 내가 근심하고 분한 마음으로 가니 여호와의 권능이 힘있게 나를 감동시키시더라”(겔 3:14)

교회에 있는 많은 사람이 신성한 교통이라는 성령의 사역에 대해 아직 잘 알지 못합니다. 요한계시록을 읽어보십시오. 밧모섬에 있던 요한이 갑자기 하나님 앞으로 옮겨졌습니다(계 1:9-11). 또 다른 예로는 빌립이 있습니다. 사도행전 8:39은 “둘이 물에서 올라올새 주의 영이 빌립을 이끌어간지라 내시는 기쁘게 길을 가므로 그를 다시는 보지 못하니라”라고 말씀합니다.

주님의 영이 빌립을 물리적으로 운반해서 다른 곳으로 데려가셨습니다(행 8:40). 빌립은 거듭났고, 그 안에 성령님이 계셨다는 것을 기억하십시오. 성령님은 이 땅에서 우리를 통해 그분의 목적을 이루기 위해 우리 안에서 자신의 사역을 수행하십니다.

고린도후서 13:14(한글킹제임스)는 이렇게 선포합니다. “주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님의 사랑과 성령의 교제가 너희 모두와 함께 있을지어다. 아멘.” “교제(communion)”로 번역된 헬라어는 “코이노니아(Koinonia)”이며 그 의미는 다른 여러 동의어 중에서 이동 곧 교통(communication)을 뜻합니다. 사도 바울은 교회가 성령님의 신성한 교통을 적극적으로 경험할 수 있기를 기도하고 있었습니다.

삶에서 성령의 다스림에 자신을 양보할 때, 그분이 당신을 얼마나 강력하게 사용할 것인지는 알 수 없습니다. 영감을 주고 당신을 축복하는 것 외에도, 그분은 멀리 떨어진 땅에서 하나님의 일을 수행하도록 영 안에서 당신을 옮길 수도 있습니다. 당신이 성령으로 말미암아 기도할 때, 골방 안에서도 당신은 수천 킬로 떨어진 곳에 있는 사람들의 삶을 만지고 상황들을 변화시킬 수 있습니다. 할렐루야!

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 성령님을 통해 아버지와 깊고 진심 어린 열정의 강한 교제를 누리는 것이 얼마나 큰 특권이자 축복인지요! 성령님과의 교제를 통해 저는 영향력 있고, 영광과 축복이 있는 더 높은 영역으로 옮겨집니다. 그러므로 저는 복음으로 사람들의 삶을 만지며 민족들을 변화시키고 세상에 영향을 끼칩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다.

DIVINE TRANSPORTATION BY THE HOLY GHOST

So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me (Ezekiel 3:14).

Not many in the Church are yet acquainted with the ministry of the Holy Spirit in divine transportation. Read about John in the Book of Revelation; he was in the isle of Patmos, and suddenly, he was divinely transported to God’s presence (Revelation 1:9-11).

Another example is Philip. Acts 8:39 says, “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.” The Spirit of the Lord carried Philip physically and took him somewhere else (Acts 8:40). Remember, Philip was born again and had the Holy Spirit in him. The Spirit carries out this ministry in us to achieve His purposes in the earth through us.

2 Corinthians 13:14 declares: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” The word translated, “communion” is from the Greek “koinonia” and it means, amongst other synonyms, communication, in which is transportation. The Apostle Paul was praying that the Church would actively experience divine Holy Ghost transportation.

As you yield to the sway of the Spirit in your life, there’s no telling how mightily He’d use you. Beyond inspiring and blessing you, He can divinely transport you in the spirit to accomplish divine tasks in distant lands. Right in your closet, as you pray by the Holy Ghost, you can touch lives and change things thousands of miles away Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, what a privilege and blessing it is to enjoy deep, heartfelt, passionate, and intense fellowship with you through the Holy Ghost! Through this fellowship, I’m divinely transported to higher realms of influence, glory and blessings. Thus, I touch lives, transform nations and impact the world with the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

은혜 안에서 걷기
Walking In Grace

“우리가 다 그의 충만한(풍요한)데서 받으니 [모두가 자기 몫을 가졌고 우리가 모두 공급을 받았나니] 은혜 위에 은혜러라 {그리고} 영적 축복 위에 영적 축복이라 {그리고} 은총 위에 은총이라 {그리고} 은사 위에 [쌓인] 은사로다”(요 1:16, AMP)

하나님의 은혜는 초자연적입니다! 하나님의 은혜는 호의와 번영과 치유와 초자연적인 증가를 가져옵니다. 그것은 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼과 능력이 나타나는 것이며, 인간의 영에 있는 신성한 영향이 외적으로 반영되는 것입니다. 사도 바울이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 언급한 이 초자연적인 은혜가 당신에게 이미 주어졌습니다.

은혜는 용납과 영예와 존귀를 가져옵니다. 그것은 하나님의 목적과 일치한 사람들과 환경과 자원들을 삶으로 끌어당깁니다. 도전적인 상황에서도 은혜는 당신을 이롭게 하고, 당신이 모든 역경을 딛고 일어나게 합니다.

은혜는 당신을 이 세상에서 구별되게 합니다. 곧 당신을 영광과 탁월함으로 분리시킵니다. 명성이나 재산 등 이 세상에 있는 것들 가운데 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 당신에게 전해 준 것과 비교할 수 있는 것은 전혀 없습니다. 사도 바울이 고린도후서 6:1에서 “우리가 하나님과 함께 일하는 자로서 너희를 권하노니 하나님의 은혜를 헛되이 받지 말라”고 말하는 것은 당연합니다. 그는 오히려 우리에게 “…그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 가운데서 강해지라”(딤후 2:1)고 조언합니다.

하나님의 은혜 안에서 강해지려면 그분의 충만한 은혜 가운데 걸어야 합니다. 당신은 아브라함의 씨이기 때문에 번영의 은혜가 당신 안에서도 역사하고 있습니다. 그 은혜는 가뭄의 때에 농사를 지어 그해 백배나 수확한 이삭처럼 당신도 성공시킵니다(창 26:12-13).

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 저에게 베푸신 그 큰 은혜를 기뻐하며, 제가 아버지의 사랑 가운데 걸을 때 아버지의 영광과 덕과 탁월함과 위대함이 제 삶에 나타남을 선포합니다. 아버지의 은혜와 평안은 제게 주신 말씀에 대한 계시가 증가함으로써 제 삶에서 배가됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WALKING IN GRACE

For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another {and} spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing {and} even favor upon favor {and} gift [heaped] upon gift (John 1:16 AMPC).

God’s grace is supernatural! It brings favour, prosperity, health and supernatural increase. It’s the manifestation of the love, compassion and power of God; the outward reflection of a divine influence in the human spirit. This supernatural grace, which the Apostle Paul speaks about in our opening scripture, has been bestowed upon you.

Grace brings acceptability, honour and dignity; it attracts the right people, circumstances and resources in line with God’s purpose, into your life. Even in challenging situations, grace gives you the advantage and causes you to rise above every adversity.

Grace differentiates you in the world; it sets you apart for glory and excellence. There’s absolutely nothing in this world, including its fame or fortune, that could be compared with what the grace of Jesus Christ has delivered to you. No wonder Paul the Apostle counsels in 2 Corinthians 6:1, “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain”; but rather, “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1).

To be strong in the grace of God is to walk in the fullness of His grace. Being the seed of Abraham, the grace for prosperity is working in you too. That grace puts you ahead and positions you for success like it did for Isaac, who sowed in a time of famine and reaped a hundredfold harvest in the same year (Genesis 26:12-13).

PRAYER
Dear Father, I rejoice for the grace that you’ve greatly lavished upon me, and declare that my life is the manifestation of your glory, virtue, excellence and greatness as I walk in your love. Your grace and peace are multiplied in my life through the increased revelation of your Word granted me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Our Sacrifice Of Praise Is With Words

“그러므로 우리가 그분(예수 그리스도)을 통해서 찬양의 제물을 하나님께 계속해서 드리자 이것이 그의 이름에 감사하는 우리 입술의 열매니라”(히 13:15)

구약시대의 제사장이 번제와 향으로 제물을 드렸던 것처럼, 오늘날 우리도 주님께 입술의 열매로 찬양의 제물을 드리는데, 그것은 바로 우리가 그분을 향해 드리는 찬양과 감사의 말입니다. “감사하는(giving thanks)”이라고 번역된 헬라어는 호몰로게오(Homologeo)인데, ‘고백하다’라는 뜻입니다. 그러므로 이것은 그분의 이름에 고백한다는 말입니다.

우리의 찬양의 제물은 말이며, 이것은 “주님, 주님께 찬양을 드립니다.”와 같은 표현을 능가합니다. 당신의 말이 하나님께 드리는 진정한 찬양의 제물이 되려면, 당신의 영에서 나오는 실체와 섞여야 합니다. 즉, 당신에게는 그분을 찬양하는 분명한 이유가 있어서 그 이유를 말해야 합니다.

OUR SACRIFICE OF PRAISE IS WITH WORDS

By him (Jesus Christ) therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15).

Just as the priest offered sacrifices of burnt offerings and incense in the Old Testament, today, we offer sacrifices of praise to the Lord with the fruit of our lips, which are the words we speak in praise and thanksgiving to Him. The underlined expression, “giving thanks” is the Greek, “Homologeo”, meaning to make confessions; making confessions to His Name.

Our sacrifices of praise are with words, and they transcend statements like, “Lord, I give you praise.” For it to be a true sacrifice of praise to God, it must be mixed with substance from your spirit. You must have definite reasons for praising Him, and then voice those reasons. Your Praise of Him must have content. In other words, you’re to consciously praise and thank Him in the Name of Jesus, for specific reasons.

The sacrifices of praise are confessions, declarations, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that you render to Him for His love, grace and goodness towards you. They also refer to tributes or speeches that acknowledge and celebrate His majesty; confessions of His Word that we make to glorify Him. These confessions are the fruits and calves of our lips—words from our mouths that give glory to God.

Therefore, when making confessions, say beautiful things about the Lord and give testimonies of His wondrous works. Proclaim what He has said about Himself and about you: “…for he hath said…So that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

As you make those confessions in Jesus’ Name, He (Jesus), as our Great High Priest, presents them before the Father, who receives your praise and worship as a sacrifice of a sweet-smelling savour. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Blessed Father, how great and glorious you are! You’re the only true and wise God, who reigns and rules in the affairs of men. To you, O Lord, be all glory, honour, majesty, dominion and praise! Thank you for making my life beautiful and filling me with your glory, righteousness and peace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FANNING YOUR EMBERS OF JOY

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice (Philippians 4:4).

Joy is a fruit of the recreated human spirit, something inherent in you. It doesn’t matter what news or event tries to make you unhappy; you can always be joyful in the Holy Ghost, for such is the Kingdom of God. Romans 14:17 says, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Ephesians 5:18-19 reveals how you can be full of the joy of the Holy Ghost always. It says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”

This was one of Apostle Paul’s secrets of success; he wrote what we read in our opening verse, while in prison. He was full of joy, and continued to preach the Gospel in prison. In his letter to the Church at Ephesus, he said Pray for me: “…that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak” (Ephesians 6:19-20). Notice the underlined portion; he didn’t allow his experience to dictate his mood or interfere with the joy of the Lord in his heart.

In your life, see challenges as opportunities to manifest the glory of God; that way, you’ll always be full of joy. James 1:2 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

The Word should form the basis for your joy at all times. When you interprete and respond to situations on the basis of God’s Word, you’ll discover that nothing in life could give you a bad day, or be to your disadvantage, because your joy comes through the Word and the Spirit of God.

CONFESSION
The Lord Jesus, through His vicarious death and triumphant resurrection, has brought me into the life of unlimited joy, victory, dominion and righteousness. Therefore, I rejoice evermore, with joy unspeakable, and full of glory. My joy is of the Holy Ghost, and it knows no bounds. Hallelujah!

기독교는 당신 안에 계신 그리스도가 드러나는 것입니다. 다시 말해 당신 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명이 나타나는 것입니다. 당신 안에 살아계신 그리스도는 당신 안에서 그리고 당신을 통해 역사하시며 사람들을 만지시고 삶을 변화시키십니다. 이것이 그리스도인의 삶의 정수입니다. 그리스도는 당신의 영 안에 거하시며 당신을 그분의 살아 있는 성막이 되게 하십니다.

MANIFESTING AND REVEALING CHRIST

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh (2 Corinthians 4:11).

Christianity is the manifestation of the Christlife in you; Christ alive in you—working in and through you—touching and changing lives through you. This is the essence of the Christian life: Christ taking up His abode in your spirit, making you His living tabernacle.

This is the reason whatever God needs to do on earth today is only possible through His children; we’re His operational centre. He lives, talks, moves, touches, and blesses through us. The prophet said, “… he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand” (Isaiah 53:10); we’re that seed. Hallelujah! You’re His beauty, His trophy, and outstretched arm.

Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches….” The branches are the fruit-producing part of the vine. Thus, you reveal the glory and beauty of Christ. That glory is in your spirit, where Christ lives. Christ in you is what produces the glory that’s seen on the outside. Look inwards, into your spirit, and see the glory within; reveal the same to your world.

True spiritual growth is determined by the extent to which Christ is revealed through you—the manifestation of His person and character through you. This is why you must consciously allow His Word to dwell in you richly. Keep studying and meditating on the Word, for the Lord and His Word are one. The more you know Him through fellowship, the more He’s revealed in you and through you.

CONFESSION
Christ has taken up His abode in my spirit, and I’ve become His living tabernacle, and operational centre, living the Christ-life, and unveiling His character, glory, wisdom, grace, and righteousness. Through me, His beauty and perfections are revealed in my world, in an ever-increasing measure through the ability of the Holy Spirit at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

당신이 증언하는 방법에는 세 가지가 있습니다. 첫 번째 방법은 주님 앞에서 하나님이 당신을 위해 하신 일들을 선포하는 것입니다. 당신은 살면서 받은 축복들을 말하며 그분의 선하심을 증언합니다. 당신은 그분이 당신을 위해, 당신 안에서 그리고 당신과 함께 하신 모든 일을 의식하며 그것에 감사하고, 영원한 그분의 은혜와 자비와 신실함과 사랑으로 인해 그 일들이 일어났음을 확언합니다.

헌금을 드리는 것은 당신의 삶에서 하나님이 주시는 번영을 기리는 것과는 별개로, 그분의 위대하심에 대한 당신의 확언 혹은 증언이며, 그분의 능력과 주권에 대한 당신의 인식이기도 합니다.

증언하는 세 번째 방법은 주님이 당신 안에서, 당신과 함께, 그리고 당신을 위해 하신 일을 다른 사람들에게 말하는 것입니다. 당신은 사람들 앞에서 그분의 선하심을 말하며 날마다 믿음 안에서 살고 의의 열매를 맺습니다. 당신은 상황과 상관없이 항상 기뻐합니다.

다양한 시험 앞에서도 침착하며 기뻐하는 당신의 모습을 사람들이 볼 때, 이는 주님에 대한 당신의 믿음과 확신의 증언입니다. 직면한 압박이나 역경과는 상관없이 당신이 확고하고 흔들리지 않으며 항상 주님의 일을 넘치게 하는 것을 목격하는 사람들은 주님을 믿고 신뢰하는 당신의 삶에서 감화를 받습니다. 그게 바로 증언입니다. 앞서 언급한 세 가지 방식은 모두 당신의 삶에서 하나님의 영광을 증언하는 기본적인 방법입니다. 할렐루야!

THREE WAYS TO TESTIFY

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4:14).

There’re three ways you testify: one is by declaring before the Lord Himself what He did for you. You count your blessings and testify of His goodness in your personal life; you’re conscious of, and thankful for, all He’s done for you, in you, and with you, affirming that they happened by His grace, mercy, faithfulness, and love that endure forever.

Secondly, you testify with your offering. This is the part that not so many yet understand and practise: the power of the offering. It’s a testimony. When you give God your offering, it’s not a collection; it’s a hallowed oblation, with which you’re testifying that He’s God and not a man. With your offering, you’re testifying and giving glory to Him in your life.

The Patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and his son Solomon—all gave offerings upon the altar in worship to God. Take Solomon, for example; 1 Kings 3:4 says, “…a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.” Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings where God would have accepted a much lesser figure; but it reflected His recognition and testimony of the greatness of God.

Apart from your offering being a celebration of the prosperity of God in your life, it’s also your affirmation or testimony of His greatness, and your recognition of His power and sovereignty.

The third way to testify is to tell others that which the Lord has done in, with, and for you. You tell of His goodness before men, living your life every day in faith, bearing fruits of righteousness. You’re joyful always, irrespective of circumstances.

It’s a testimony of your faith and confidence in the Lord when people see you and observe that you’re joyful and unruffled in the face of diverse tests. They observe that regardless of the pressures and adversities that you face, you’re steadfast, unmoved, always abounding in the work of the Lord; therefore, they’re inspired by your life of faith and trust in the Lord. That’s a testimony.

The aforementioned are basic ways that you testify to the glory of God in your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Blessed Father, you’re great, and greatly to be praised. Thank you for the blessings and miracles I experience in my life, which are acts of your love and kindness. The heavens and earth declare your mighty works, and testify of your infinite wisdom and grace, even as all creation sings “Hallelujah” to you, the eternal King of glory. Blessed are you forever. Amen.

“이미 그의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이 자기의 일을 쉬심과 같이 자기의 일을 쉬느니라”(히 4:10)

오늘의 본문 구절은 오늘날 교회에 있는 많은 사람이 이해해야 할 놀라운 내용을 밝혀주고 있습니다. 하나님은 어떻게 하면 세상의 문제를 고치고, 곤경에 처한 그분의 자녀들을 도와줄까 고민하면서 하늘에 계시지 않고, 오히려 쉬고 계십니다. 그분은 당신이 생명을 얻고 그것을 최대로 누리는 데 필요한 모든 일을 이미 다 하셨기 때문에 지금은 쉬고 계십니다.

“어떤 일이 벌어져서 하나님께 기도를 드렸는데 그분이 기적적으로 개입하셨다면, 하나님께서 어떤 일을 하셨다는 뜻이 아닌가요?”라고 물을 수도 있습니다. 그렇지 않습니다. 그분은 어떤 일도 하지 않으셨습니다. 당신은 그저 그분이 이미 이루어 놓은 것을 받기 위해 당신의 믿음을 활성화했던 것뿐입니다. “하지만 사도 바울은 ‘우리 가운데 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게’(엡 3:20)라고 말하지 않았나요?”라고 물어볼 수도 있습니다. “그 말씀은 하나님이 오늘날에도 여전히 일하고 계신다는 것을 보여주지 않나요?”라고 말입니다. 하지만 에베소서 3:20의 뒷부분을 주목해 보십시오. 그분은 하늘에서 휘두르는 능력에 따라서가 아니라, 당신 안에서 역사하시는 그분의 능력을 따라 당신이 요청하는 모든 것들을 하십니다. 그렇기 때문에 기적이 일어나면, 그분은 그 공로를 당신에게 돌리십니다. 그분은 우리에게 아픈 자들을 고치고, 나병 환자들을 깨끗하게 하고, 죽은 자를 일으키며 귀신을 내쫓으라(마 10:8)고 말씀하셨지, “그 일을 해달라고 나에게 기도하라”고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다.

영적인 이해도가 낮은 수준에서 허용되는 것들이 있습니다. 예를 들어, 우리는 집회에서 “하나님께서 오늘 당신을 치유하실 것입니다”라고 말할 수 있고, 그러면 다양한 치유와 기적들이 일어날 것입니다. 그렇지만 그것은 낮은 수준의 진리입니다. 창세기 1:16에서 우리는 더 큰 빛과 더 작은 빛에 대해 읽습니다. 빛은 진리를 의미합니다. 작고 일반적인 진리는 그리스도 안에 있는 아기를 위한 것입니다. 그래서 당신은 그런 사람들에게 “하나님이 당신을 치유하실 것입니다”라고 말해줄 수 있습니다.

하지만 당신이 하나님의 말씀을 더 깊이 파고들수록, 오늘날 많은 이들이 이해하는 의미에서 하나님께서는 실제로 누군가를 위해 무언가를 “하고 계시지” 않으신다는 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. 그분은 이미 그리스도 예수 안에서 모든 일을 끝내셨고 완성하셨습니다! 그분은 당신을 치유하거나 당신에게 무언가를 주기 위해 애쓰지 않으십니다. 베드로후서 1:3은 “그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니…”라고 말씀합니다. 그분은 이미 그렇게 하셨습니다! 지금 당신에게 필요한 것은 말씀대로 행동하고, 당신의 유업 안에서 걷는 것뿐입니다. 그분이 당신을 지으신 그 모든 것이 되고, 그리스도 안에 있는 당신에게 유용하게 하신 모든 것들을 누리십시오.

HE’S REALLY NOT WORKING TODAY

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his (Hebrews 4:10).

Our opening verse reveals something striking that many in the Church today need to understand. God isn’t in heaven, troubled about how to fix things in the world and help his children that are in one predicament or the other. Rather, He’s in heaven resting. He’s done everything He ever needed to do for you to have and enjoy life to the full, and now He’s taking a chill; resting.

You might say, “But when I have a situation, and I pray to God, who miraculously intervenes, doesn’t that mean He’s done something?” No, He didn’t do anything. You only activated your faith to receive what He’s already done. You might query further, “But the Apostle Paul said, ‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us’ (Ephesians 3:20). Doesn’t it show that God still does things today?” Notice the latter part: He does whatever you require Him to do for you, according to His power that’s at work in you, not according to the power He wields in, or from heaven. That’s why when such miracles happen, He gives you the credit. He told us to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils (Matthew 10:8). He didn’t say, “Pray to me to do them.”

There’re certain things that are permissible at the lower levels of spiritual understanding. For example, we can say in a crusade meeting, “God is going to heal you today,” and diverse healing miracles will take place.

But that’s a lesser truth. In Genesis 1:16, we read about greater light and the lesser light. Light stands for truth. Lesser and generic truths are for the babies in Christ; so you tell them, “God is going to heal you.” But the more you delve into the Word of God, the more you realise that God is really not “doing” anything for anybody today in the sense that many understand it. He’s already done and fulfilled everything in Christ Jesus! He’s not making any effort to heal you or give you anything. 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” He’s already done it! What you need now is to act on the Word and walk in your inheritance. Be all He’s made you, and enjoy all that He’s made available to you in Christ.

CONFESSION
Blessed be God! I live the transcendent life of glory; I’m triumphant in Christ, always, in every place, and in all things. I’m more than a conqueror! His divine power has given me everything I need for life and godliness. I have, and I’m enjoying, life to the full. Hallelujah!

You’re A Life-giving Spirit

“성경에 ‘첫 사람 아담은 산 영이 되었다’고 기록한 바와 같이, 마지막 아담은 생명을 주시는 영이 되셨습니다”(고전 15:45, NIV)

예수 그리스도는 마지막 아담입니다. 그분은 생명을 주시는 분이십니다. 그분은 성령으로 말미암아 당신 안에 사시면서 그분과 똑같은 생명을 당신에게 주셨으므로 이제 당신은 생명을 주는 자입니다.

우리는 그리스도인은 평범한 사람이 아니고 주님과 하나가 되어 그분과 같은 임무와 목적을 지니고 있다고 사람들에게 말해줍니다. 요한복음 10:10에서 주 예수님은 “…내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라”고 선포하셨습니다. 그분은 자신의 목적에 대해 분명히 밝히셨습니다. 예수님은 그분을 믿는 자들에게 영원한 생명을 주시려고 오셨습니다. 예수님은 “내 양은 내 음성을 들으며 나는 그들을 알며 그들은 나를 따르느니라 내가 그들에게 영생을 주노니…”(요 10:27-28)라고 말씀하심으로써 이 진리를 더 확고하게 하셨습니다.

오늘의 본문 구절이 예수님을 생명을 주는 영이라고 묘사한 것은 당연합니다. 거듭난 당신은 이제 그리스도와 하나입니다. 고린도전서 6:17은 “주와 합하는 자는 한 영이니라”라고 말씀합니다. 당신은 주님과 한 영이 되었으므로, 그분이 그러하신 것 같이 당신도 그러합니다(요일 4:17). 그러므로 당신은 생명을 주는 영입니다. 주님은 당신을 그분의 생명에 참여한 자가 되게 하셨을 뿐만 아니라 영생을 나눠주는 자가 되게 하셨습니다.

복음을 통해 잃어버린 영혼들을 의의 생명으로 데려오는 것이 당신이 사는 목적입니다. 디모데후서 1:10은 예수 그리스도가 죽음을 폐하시고 복음을 통해 생명과 불멸을 밝히셨다고 우리에게 알려줍니다. 영생은 복음전파를 통해 드러납니다. 당신에게는 생명의 말씀이 있습니다. 당신이 말할 때, 하나님의 구원과 의가 드러납니다.

예수님은 요한복음 20:21에서 “…아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 모든 민족에게 하나님의 생명을 나타내도록 당신을 택하셨습니다. 그분은 잃어버린 자들을 하나님의 아들들이 누리는 자유 곧 그리스도 안에 있는 영광스러운 삶으로 데려오도록 당신을 복음을 나르는 자로 보내셨습니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

고백
예수님이 그러하신 것처럼 나도 그러한 자입니다. 나는 생명을 주는 영입니다. 영생과 왕국의 영원한 실재를 나누고 전달하는 자입니다. 나는 오늘 많은 사람에게 기쁨을 가져다주며, 그들의 삶을 변화시키고 그리스도 안에 있는 유업 안으로 그들을 쏘아 올리는 하나님의 능력인 복음을 그들과 나눕니다. 할렐루야.

YOU’RE A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT

So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a lifegiving spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45 NIV).

Jesus Christ is the last Adam. He’s the life-giver; and because He lives in you by the Holy Spirit, and has given you the same life as His, you’re a lifegiver now.

We tell people that the Christian isn’t an ordinary person; he’s one with the Lord, on the same mission and purpose with the Lord. In John 10:10 NIV, the Lord Jesus declared, “…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” He left no one in doubt as to His purpose: He came to give eternal life to those who would believe in Him. He gave further confirmation to this truth when He said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life…” (John 10:27-28).

No wonder He’s described in our opening scripture as the life-giving Spirit. Now that you’re born again, you’re one with Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “…he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” You’ve become one spirit with the Lord; as He is, so are you (1 John 4:17); therefore, you’re a life-giving spirit. Not only has He made you a partaker of His life, you’re also a dispenser or distributor of eternal life.

It’s your life’s purpose to bring the lost into the life of righteousness through the Gospel. 2 Timothy 1:10 lets us know that Jesus Christ has abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Eternal life is unveiled through the preaching of the Gospel. You bear the words of life. As you speak, salvation and the righteousness of God are revealed.

Jesus said in John 20:21, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” He’s chosen you to manifest the God-life to the nations. He’s sent you as a bearer of His Gospel, to bring the lost into the liberty of the sons of God—into the glorious life in Christ. Praise God!

CONFESSION
As Jesus is, so am I; I’m a life-giving spirit; a dispenser and distributor of eternal life, and the eternal realities of the Kingdom. I bring joy to many today as I share the Gospel with them, which is the power of God to transform their lives, and catapult them into their inheritance in Christ. Hallelujah!
