He Doesn’t Lead Us Through Dreams
“무릇 하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라”(롬 8:14)
신약시대에서 하나님은 꿈을 통해 우리를 인도하지 않으십니다. 성경은 “무릇 꿈으로 인도함을 받는 사람은 곧 하나님의 아들이라”고 말씀하지 않습니다. 오히려 “하나님의 영으로 인도함을 받는 사람은…”이라고 말씀합니다. 사도행전 2:17의 내용은 어떤가요? 그것은 하나님이 여전히 꿈을 통해 인도하고 계신다는 것을 보여주는 게 아닌가요?”라고 물을지 모릅니다. 아닙니다. 그분은 그렇게 하지 않으십니다.
사도행전 2:17에서 성경은 “하나님이 말씀하시기를 말세에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어주리니…너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라”고 말씀합니다. 꿈은 감각 지식의 인간 세대를 위한 것이었습니다. 만약 당신이 꿈을 꾼다면, 즉 주님에게서 온 메시지를 담은 진정한 꿈을 꾼다면, 그 내용은 항상 당신에게 집중되어 있을 것입니다. 다른 사람이 아닌 당신이 그 꿈의 주제가 될 것입니다.
하나님은 결코 누군가에 대한 꿈을 다른 사람에게 주시지 않습니다. 욥은 하나님께서 지시를 표시하고 그들이 멸망하지 않도록 경고하려고 밤에 사람들에게 꿈속에서 말씀하신다고 말했습니다(욥 33:15-18 참조). 하지만 그것은 구약시대였고, 다른 사람들에 대한 것이 아니라 그 시대의 사람들에 대한 말씀이었습니다.
어떤 사람들은 다른 사람들이 자신에 대해 꾼 꿈을 믿고 “구원”을 찾기 시작했습니다. 그것은 어리석은 것입니다. 당신이 거듭났다면, 어떤 이유에서건 나쁜 꿈을 꾸었더라도 그것은 아무런 의미가 없습니다. 그 꿈의 내용이 당신을 향한 하나님 말씀과 일치하지 않는다면 거절하십시오.
성령님이 오신 이후로, 신약성경에 나오는 사도나 그 누구도 꿈속에서 사역 받는 것을 볼 수 없습니다. 오늘날 그분은 기록된 말씀을 통해, 그리고 당신의 영 안에 있는 그분의 빛 곧 내적 증거를 통해 당신을 인도하십니다. 하지만 그 내적 음성 혹은 내적 증거는 항상 말씀과 일치합니다.
그러므로 당신의 인생을 꿈에 기초하지 마십시오. 만약 그 꿈들이 당신을 향한 하나님의 계획과 일치한다면 예수 이름으로 그것들을 주장하십시오. 그렇지 않다면 내다 버리고, 그 위에 거하지 마십시오. 말씀과 그리스도 안에 있는 하나님의 공급을 의지해 사십시오.

사랑하는 아버지, 저를 향한 아버지의 온전한 뜻의 방향으로 제 삶을 인도하시는 성령님을 선물로 주셔서 감사드립니다. 저는 성령 안에서 삽니다. 그러므로 저는 삶의 모든 일에 대한 지시와 지침을 받도록 성령님께 제 자신을 내어 드리며, 성령 안에서 행합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE DOESN’T LEAD US THROUGH DREAMS
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14).
In the New Testament, God doesn’t lead us through dreams. The Bible doesn’t say, “For as many as are led by dreams, they are the sons of God”; rather, it says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God….” You might want to ask, “How about Acts 2:17; doesn’t it indicate that God still leads through dreams?” No; He doesn’t.
When the Bible says in Acts 2:17, “…in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…and your old men shall dream dreams…”; dreams were for sense knowledge generation of men. And if you ever had a dream, a real dream that’s a message from the Lord, always, the focus would be on you; you’d be the theme of the dream; not someone else.
God never gave anybody any dream about anybody else. Job said, “God talks to men in a dream of the night to seal an instruction into them, to warn them from their destruction” (Read Job 33:15-18). That’s in the Old Testament. It was about them; not about other people.
Some people believed some dreams that others had about them, and started looking for “deliverance”; that’s absurd. If you’re born again, God doesn’t send you a warning through someone else’s dream. Their dream is about them and not you. Don’t fear their fears and dreams.
Since the Holy Spirit began His ministry with the church on the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2, none of the Apostles or anyone in the New Testament was ministered to in a dream. Today, as then, He guides you through the written Word, and through His light in your spirit; the inward witness. Howbeit, that inward voice or witness always bears record with the Word. He gives visions and diverse revelations, nonetheless, but not with other people’s dreams about you. He said “my sheep hear my voice…” (John 10:27).
Therefore, don’t base your life on dreams; if you dream a dream that’s consistent with God’s plan for you, claim it in Jesus’ Name, otherwise throw it away and don’t dwell on it. Live on the Word and God’s provisions in Christ.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the gift of your Spirit who causes my life to go in the direction of your perfect will for me. I live in the Spirit; therefore, I also walk in the Spirit, yielding myself to you, to be directed and instructed in all of life’s affairs, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
