의로 훈련하기
TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

“이는 젖을 먹는 자마다 어린아이니 의의 말씀을 경험하지 못한 자요”(히 5:13)

의는 우리를 하나님을 닮게 하려고 우리의 영에 전이된 하나님의 본성입니다. 이 의의 본성은 당신이 하나님처럼 생각하고 말하고 걷게 합니다. 의는 하나님의 뜻과 본성에 일치하는 것입니다. 이 하나님의 뜻과 본성을 받은 다음, 하나님의 계시 또는 하나님에게서 온 계시를 통해 배우거나 발견해야 합니다. 다른 말로 하면, 하나님의 말씀을 통해 당신은 의의 말씀 또는 교리로 훈련과 교습을 받습니다. 당신은 다르게 보고 다르게 생각하도록 훈련을 받습니다! 디모데후서 3:16은 말씀합니다. “모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니” 하나님의 말씀은 의의 방식과 삶으로 당신을 훈련시키기 위한 하나님의 지침서입니다.

하나님의 말씀과 성령님의 사역을 통해 당신은 어떤 직업을 선택했든 상관없이 삶에서 성공하는 법을 배웁니다. 이런 훈련으로 당신은 지혜롭고 뛰어나므로, 삶에서 현명하고 탁월하게 처리할 수 있습니다. 더욱이 의로 훈련을 받음으로써 당신은 생명 안에서 통치하는 위치에 서게 됩니다. 로마서 5:17은 말씀합니다. “…더욱 은혜와 의의 선물을 넘치게 받는 자들은 한 분 예수 그리스도를 통하여 생명 안에서 왕 노릇 하리로다”

귀신과 질병과 실패와 패배와 죽음을 다스리고 하나님께 속하지 않는 모든 것을 거부하며 당신을 향한 그분의 완전한 뜻과 일치하는 것만을 승인하려면, 의를 이해하는 게 필요합니다. 그리고 다르게 말하고 다르게 보고 다르게 생각하기 위해서는 의의 말씀에 능숙해지는 것이 필요합니다.

그런 이유로 당신은 꾸준히 말씀의 사역에 자신을 양보해야 합니다. 말씀은 의의 생명으로 그리고 의의 생명을 위해 살도록 당신을 훈련하는 지침서이기 때문입니다.

고백
나는 풍성한 은혜와 의의 선물을 받았기 때문에 항상 환경 위로 올라가서 생명 안에서 왕으로 통치합니다. 나의 삶은 탁월하고 영광으로 넘칩니다. 나는 다르게 생각하고 보고 말하고 걷도록 의의 교리와 생명으로 훈련됩니다. 예수 이름으로 고백합니다. 아멘.

로마서 5:17) 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 사망이 그 한 사람으로 인하여 군림하였다면, 더욱더 은혜의 풍성함과 의의 선물을 넘치도록 받는 사람들이 한 사람 예수 그리스도로 인하여 생명 안에서 군림할 것이니라.

디모데후서 3:16-17) 모든 성경은 하나님의 영감으로 주어진 것으로 교리와 책망과 바로잡음과 의로 훈육하기에 유익하니 이는 하나님의 사람이 온전하게 되며, 모든 선한 일에 철저히 구비되게 하려 함이니라.

TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe (Hebrews 5:13).

Righteousness is the nature of God that’s been imparted to our spirits that makes us like Him.

This nature makes you think like Him, talk like Him, and walk like Him. Righteousness is conformity to, or with, the will and nature of God. This will and nature of God must be received, learned, or discovered through the revelation of God, or revelation from God.

In other words, through the Word of God, you’re trained or tutored in the word or doctrine of righteousness; you’re trained to see and think differently! 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” The Word of God is God’s instruction manual to train you in the way and life of righteousness.

Through the ministry of the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit, you’re taught how to live the Kingdom life, irrespective of your environment. With this training, you’re sagacious, exceptional, able to deal wisely and excellently in life, reigning in union with Christ. Romans 5:17 says, “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

It takes understanding righteousness to reign over demons, sickness, failure, defeat, and death. It takes your understanding of righteousness to reject everything that’s not of God, and endorse only that which is consistent with His perfect will for you. It takes being skilled in the word of righteousness to think differently, see differently, and talk differently from the carnal mind, and in the light of God’s truth.

This is why you should constantly yield yourself to the ministry of the Word, for the Word is your training manual in, and for, the life of righteousness.

CONFESSION
I’m lifted always, over and above circumstances, reigning in life as a king, because I’ve received abundance of grace, and the gift of righteousness. My life is excellent and full of glory; I’m trained in the doctrine and life of righteousness to think, see, talk, and walk differently, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

신성한 건강은 당신의 본성입니다
DIVINE HEATH IS YOUR NATURE

“사랑하는 자여 네 영혼이 잘됨 같이 네가 범사에 잘되고 강건하기를 내가 간구하노라”(요삼 1:2)

베드로전서 2:24은 예수님을 가리키면서 이렇게 말씀합니다. “친히 나무에 달려 그 몸으로 우리 죄를 담당하셨으니 이는 우리로 죄에 대하여 죽고 의에 대하여 살게 하려 하심이라 그가 채찍에 맞음으로 너희는 나음을 얻었나니” 전 세계의 많은 그리스도인이 치유를 받고자 그들의 믿음을 행하면서 이 구절을 사용하지만, 이 구절이 그리스도인을 위해 기록된 게 아니라는 사실을 아셨습니까? 사실, 이 구절은 새로운 피조물에 적용되지 않습니다. 이 서신은 본질상 베드로가 해외에 흩어져 있던 유대인들에게 보낸 편지이기 때문입니다(벧전 1:1을 읽어보십시오).

새로운 피조물에게는 하나님의 생명인 신성한 생명이 있는데, 어떻게 새로운 피조물이 아플 수 있겠습니까? 하지만 영적인 어린아이요 그리스도를 아는 지식에서 아직도 성숙해지고 있는 그리스도인은 아파서 치유를 받을 수도 있습니다. 그러나 진리는 신성한 건강이 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 본성이라는 사실입니다. 치유도 좋지만, 그건 어린 자녀들의 떡입니다. 하지만 신성한 건강 가운데 걷는 것이야말로 당신을 위한 하나님의 최고입니다. 거기에서는 당신이 아프지 않으므로 치유가 필요하지 않습니다.

어떤 사람들은 누군가가 계속 건강하게 사는 것이 불가능한 일이라고 여깁니다. 그들은 그것은 말도 안 되는 소리라고 생각하지만, 그것이야말로 예수님이 우리에게 가져오신 생명입니다. 그것이 바로 예수님의 죽음과 장사됨과 부활이 우리를 위해 성취하신 것입니다. 예수님은 아픈 적이 없으십니다. 우리는 성경 어디에서도 예수님이 치유를 받으셔야 했다는 대목을 읽을 수 없습니다. 그분은 완전히 건강하게 사셨습니다. 그리고 성경은 그분이 지금 그러하듯이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하다고 말씀합니다(요일 4:17).

하나님에게서 온 치유가 필요한 수준을 초월해서 날마다 신성한 건강으로 사십시오. 이것이 바로 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 새로운 피조물의 삶입니다. 예수님이 당신의 연약함과 병을 담당하셨다는 어린 아기 수준의 이해도 좋지만, 이를 넘어서 거듭난 당신 안에는 실제로 하나님의 생명이 있다는 더 높은 수준의 자각과 인식이 있습니다. 당신은 신성한 본성에 참여한 자이므로, 당신에게는 아픔과 질병을 능가하는 부활 생명이 있습니다. 이 더 높은 지식은 당신이 참으로 공부하여 그에 따라 살도록 자신을 훈련해야 하는 것입니다.

고백
나는 이 세상과 그 썩어지는 영향력을 능가해서 삽니다. 어떤 아픔이나 질병이나 연약함도 내 몸에서 번성할 수 없습니다. 내 영에는 하나님의 파괴될 수 없고 정복될 수 없는 생명인 신성한 생명이 있기 때문입니다! 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 나의 신성과 불멸성을 의식합니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

DIVINE HEALTH IS YOUR NATURE  

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2).

1 Peter 2:24, talking about Jesus, says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Many Christians all over the world use this verse in acting their faith for healing, but did you know that this verse wasn’t written to Christians? It really doesn’t apply to the new creation, because Peter was writing essentially to the Jews who were scattered abroad (Read 1 Peter 1:1).

The new creation has the divine life, the very life of God; therefore, how could he ever be sick? However, as a spiritual babe, as one who’s still maturing in the knowledge of Christ, you may find yourself sick, and then receive healing. But the truth of the matter is, divine health is your heritage in Christ. Healing is good; it’s the children’s bread, but walking in divine health is God’s best for you; that’s the state where you don’t need healing, because you don’t get sick.

To some people, it’s not possible for someone to be perpetually healthy; they think it’s absurd, but that’s the life Jesus brought to us. That’s what His death, burial and resurrection accomplished for us. He was never sick. We didn’t read anywhere in the Bible that He needed to be healed; He lived in perfect health.

Transcend the level of needing healing from God, to living every day in divine health. This is the life of the new creation in Christ Jesus. The understanding at the babyhood stage that Jesus took your infirmities and sicknesses is good. However, beyond that is a higher level of awareness and recognition that being born again, the life of God is actually in you now; you’re a partaker of the divine nature; you have the resurrection life that’s beyond sickness and disease. This higher knowledge is what you should really study, and train yourself to live by.

CONFESSION
I live above this world and its corrupting influences. No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body, because I have the divine life—the indestructible, unconquerable life of God in my spirit! I’m conscious of my divinity and immortality in Christ Jesus. Blessed be God!

“한 빵에 참여한 자들”
“PARTAKERS OF ONE BREAD”

“이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧후 1:4)

요한복음 6:32-33을 보면, 예수님이 유대인들에게 이렇게 대답하신 대목이 나옵니다. “모세가 너희에게 하늘로부터 떡을 준 것이 아니라 내 아버지께서 너희에게 하늘로부터 참 떡을 주시나니 하나님의 떡은 하늘에서 내려 세상에 생명을 주는 것이니라” 예수님은 요한복음 6:49-50에서는 다음과 같이 강조해서 말씀하셨습니다. “너희 조상들은 광야에서 만나를 먹었어도 죽었거니와 이는 하늘에서 내려오는 떡이니 사람으로 하여금 먹고 죽지 아니하게 하는 것이니라” 여기에서 예수님은 그분 자신에 대해 말씀하셨던 것입니다. 그분이 바로 산 떡(빵)입니다!

하나님의 말씀은 하늘에서 내려온 산 빵이요 육신이 되신 말씀입니다. 예수님은 요한복음 6:51에서 이를 설명하셨습니다. 예수님은 “나는 하늘에서 내려온 살아있는 떡이니 사람이 이 떡을 먹으면 영생하리라 내가 줄 떡은 곧 세상의 생명을 위한 내 살이니라”라고 말씀하셨습니다.

그러나 고린도전서 10:17은 아주 강력한 것을 계시해줍니다. “빵이 하나이므로, 우리가 여럿일지라도 한 몸입니다. 그것은 우리가 모두 그 한 덩이 빵을 나누어 먹기 때문입니다”(새번역). 우리가 예수님과 더불어 한 빵이라는 말은 우리도 예수님과 같은 생명을 지니고 있다는 뜻입니다. 이는 예수님이 육신이 되신 말씀이시듯이(요 1:14) 우리도 말씀으로 태어났기(벧전 1:23) 때문입니다. 골로새서 1:18은 말씀합니다. “그(그리스도)는 몸인 교회의 머리시라…” 몸에 있는 생명은 머리에 있는 생명과 다르지 않습니다. 머리와 몸은 같은  생명을 공유합니다.

베드로후서 1:4이 우리가 “하나님과 같은 부류의 존재”라고 말씀하시는 것은 당연합니다. 우리는 하나님의 생명과 영광과 의와 건강과 번영과 힘과 권세를 공유합니다! 이것이 바로 우리가 성만찬을 거행할 때 확언하는 것입니다. 즉 성만찬은 우리가 그리스도와 하나가 되어 그분의 몸과 살과 뼈의 지체가 된 것을(엡 5:30, 한글킹제임스) 기리는 것입니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

고백
그리스도는 나의 생명입니다. 그분 안에서 나는 살고 움직이며 존재합니다! 나는 그분의 몸과 살과 뼈의 지체입니다! 나는 그분의 생명과 의와 영광과 번영과 건강과 통치에 참여한 자입니다. 하나님의 생명과 본성이 내 안에서 역사하므로 나는 항상 이기며, 하는 모든 일에서 번영합니다. 할렐루야!

PARTAKERS OF “ONE BREAD”  

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4).

In John 6:32-33, in response to the Jews, Jesus said, “…Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.”

He emphasized this in John 6:49-50: “Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” Here, He was talking about Himself; He’s the Living Bread!

The Word of God is the living bread which came down from heaven; the Word that became flesh. Jesus explained this in John 6:51. He said, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Then, 1 Corinthians 10:17 reveals something powerful; it says, “For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.” If we’re “one bread” with Him, it therefore means we have the same life, because we’re born of the Word (1 Peter 1:23), just as Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Colossians 1:18 says, “And he (Christ) is the head of the body, the church….” The life in the body isn’t different from the life in the head. He’s the head, we’re the body; the head and the body share the same life.

No wonder 2 Peter 1:4 says we’re associates of the God-kind; we share His life, His glory, His righteousness, His health, prosperity, strength and authority! This is what we affirm when we take the Holy Communion; it’s a celebration of our oneness with Him; we’re members of His body, of His flesh, and of

His bones (Ephesians 5:30) Blessed be God!

CONFESSION
Christ is my life! In Him I live, move, and have my being! I’m a member of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones! I’m a partaker of His life, His righteousness, His glory, prosperity, health and dominion. I win all the time, and prosper in all I do, because the life and nature of God is at work in me. Hallelujah!

그리스도께서 이미 하신 일에 집중하십시오
FOCUS ON WHAT HE’S ALREADY DONE

“만일 율법에 속한 자들이 상속자이면 믿음은 헛것이 되고 약속은 파기되었느니라”(롬 4:14)

“바르게 살기” 때문에 마땅히 하나님의 축복을 누려야 한다고 생각하는 이들이 있습니다. 물론 의 덕분에 우리는 바르게 살 수 있게 되었지만, 당신의 선행 때문에 하나님이 당신을 위해 특정한 일을 하셔야 한다고 생각하는 것은 당신이 당신의 선행을 믿는다는 뜻입니다. 그러나 성경은 “우리를 구원하시되 우리가 행한 바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고…”(딛 3:5)라고 말씀합니다.

우선 당신은 하나님께서 그리스도인인 당신을 이미 대단히 축복하셨다는 것을 깨달아야 합니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 있는 모든 영적인 복을 받았습니다(엡 1:3). 하나님께서는 당신이 행한 일로 당신을 축복하지 않으셨습니다. 사실, 그분은 당신이 태어나기도 전에, 세상이 창조되기도 전에 당신을 축복하셨습니다. 이를테면 당신의 “선행”은 하나님께서 이미 축복하신 것 이상으로 당신을 축복하지 못할 것입니다.

예를 들어 몇 시간에 걸쳐 기도했기 때문에 하나님께서 그들의 기도를 들으시거나 꼭 들으셔야 한다고 생각하는 이들이 있습니다. 하지만 그것은 기도가 작동하는 방식이 아닙니다. 기도하는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 모든 그리스도인에게 기도와 다른 영적인 활동이 대단히 권장되고 요구되지만, 그것을 함으로써 하나님의 인정과 칭찬을 얻으려 해서는 안 됩니다. 하나님께서 지켜보시고 보상하시는 것은 당신의 믿음이지 행위가 아닙니다. 그렇지만 믿음으로 이루어진 행위는 당신을 높이고 승진시킬 것입니다.

사실상 당신이 원할 수 있는 것 중 그리스도 안에서 이미 당신 것이 아닌 것은 없습니다. 그리스도의 모든 소유는 당신 것입니다. 따라서 당신의 믿음의 닻은 그리스도께서 오셔서 하신 일이 되어야 마땅합니다. 그것이 당신이 믿고 고백하는 기초를 형성해야 하며 당신이 그리스도를 신뢰하는 기초를 형성해야 합니다. 예를 들어 당신이 신성한 건강과 신성한 번영과 지극히 풍성한 삶을 사는 이유는 그리스도께서 그런 것들을 이미 당신 것이 되게 하셨다는 사실입니다. 당신은 그분이 이미 하신 일에 집중해야 합니다.

그리스도 안에서 당신 것인 건강과 번영과 승리와 복음의 모든 축복을 고백할 때, 당신이 누구인지에 대한 의식은 물론이고 하나님께서 그리스도 안에서 당신이 손에 넣고 쓰게 하신 전부를 의식하면서 고백해야 합니다.

기도
의로우신 아버지, 저를 신성한 축복의 길에 세우셔서 감사합니다. 저는 빛의 왕국에 있는 성도들의 영광스러운 유업에 참여한 자입니다. 저는 그리스도 안에서 제가 가지고 있는 아름다운 통치와 능력과 승리의 삶을 기립니다. 저는 제 삶이 아버지의 영광과 탁월함과 의의 나타남임을 확언합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘,

FOCUS ON WHAT HE’S ALREADY DONE

For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect (Romans 4:14).

There’re those who think they ought to be enjoying God’s blessings because they’re “living right.” Yes, by virtue of our righteousness, we’re required to live right, but to think that God ought to do certain things for you because of your good works means you’re trusting in your works; and the Bible says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done…” (Titus 3:5).

First, you must understand that as a Christian, God has already blessed you beyond measure; you’re blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). He didn’t bless you because of what you did; as a matter of fact, He blessed you ever before you knew Him. Your “good works,” as it were, won’t make Him bless you any more than He’s already done.

There’re some who think God will, or should hear them, because they prayed for several hours; but that’s not how it works. It’s vital to pray; prayer and other spiritual activities are highly commendable and recommended for every Christian, but don’t try to get God’s approval by doing them. What He watches out for and rewards is your faith, not works. Nonetheless, your works, if done in faith, will be pleasing to Him.

There’s really nothing you could ever want that isn’t already yours in Christ; everything He owns belongs to you. Thus, the anchor for your faith should be what Christ came to do. That’s what should form the basis for your believing and confession, and your trust in Him. The reason for your divine health, divine prosperity, and life of superabundance is that Christ already made them yours. Your focus should be on what He’s already done.

When you confess health, prosperity, victory, and all the blessings of the Gospel that are yours in Christ, it ought to be with this consciousness; the consciousness of who you are and all that’s been made available to you in Christ.

PRAYER
Righteous Father, you’ve established me in the path of divine blessings; I’m a partaker of the glorious heritage of the saints in the Kingdom of light. I celebrate the beautiful life of dominion, power, and victory that I have in Christ. I affirm that my life is the manifestation of your glory, excellence, and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

믿음이 열쇠입니다
FAITH IS KEY

“믿음으로 아브라함은 부르심을 받았을 때에 순종하여 장래의 유업으로 받을 땅에 나아갈새 갈 바를 알지 못하고 나아갔으며”(히 11:8)

성경은 아브라함을 믿음의 아버지라고 묘사합니다. 주님께서 창세기 17:5에서 아브라함에게 “…이는 내가 너를 여러 민족의 아버지가 되게 함이니라”라고 말씀하시자, 아브라함은 이를 믿었습니다. 아직 자녀가 한 명도 없고 오로지 종들만 있었지만 믿음의 영으로 그는 주님께서 하신 말씀의 의미를 파악하고는 이에 상응하는 고백을 하고 그 실재 가운데 걸었습니다.

한번은 주님께서 아브라함에게 알지 못하는 곳이 그의 터전이 될 것이라 하시면서 그곳으로 떠나라고 말씀하셨습니다. 주님께서 그에게 말씀하신 것은 오직 “가라”는 것이었고, 아브라함은 더 이상의 지침도 받지 못한 채 그곳으로 출발했습니다. 아브라함은 “알지 못하는 종착지로 가는 이 여정을 어떻게 시작할 수 있습니까? 북쪽으로 가야 할까요? 남쪽으로 가야 할까요? 동쪽으로 가야 할까요? 아니면 서쪽으로 가야 할까요?”라고 묻지 않았습니다. 히브리서 11:8은 말씀합니다. “믿음으로 아브라함은 부르심을 받았을 때에 순종하여 장래의 유업으로 받을 땅에 나아갈새 갈 바를 알지 못하고 나아갔으며” 이처럼 아브라함은 믿음으로 출발했습니다!

히브리서 11:9은 말씀합니다. “믿음으로 그가 이방의 땅에 있는 것 같이 약속의 땅에 거류하여 동일한 약속을 유업으로 함께 받은 이삭 및 야곱과 더불어 장막에 거하였으니” 다른 말로 하면, 아브라함이 여행을 하면서 장막을 치거나 가족과 함께 살았던 곳은 어디든지 그는 하나님이 그에게 하신 말씀에 근거해서 믿음으로 살았다는 말입니다.

갈라디아서 3:7은 믿음으로 말미암은 자들은 동일한 아브라함의 자손이라고 말씀합니다. 이는 우리가 아브라함의 본을 따라야 한다는 뜻입니다. 그러므로 우리의 삶도 믿음의 삶입니다. 믿음은 하나님의 왕국에서 우리가 거래하는 현금입니다. 우리는 믿음의 가문에서 나온 믿음의 피조물입니다. 성경은 말씀합니다. “이는 우리가 믿음으로 행하고 보는 것으로 행하지 아니함이로라”(고후 5:7) 그리고 히브리서 11:1(NLT)은 말씀합니다. “믿음은 무엇인가? 믿음은 우리가 소망하는 것이 이루어질 것이라는 확신에 찬 자신감이요 우리가 아직은 볼 수 없는 것의 증거이다(What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see).”

믿음은 하나님께서는 그분이 말씀하신 그런 분이시고, 말씀하신 대로 행하시며, 말씀하신 대로 주시는 분이심을 신뢰하여 그분의 원리에 따라 사는 것입니다. 믿음은 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 않고 하나님의 말씀에 삶의 닻을 내리는 것이며, 기대하는 것이 확실히 물리적으로 나타날 것을 확신하는 자신감입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 제 믿음을 입증하고 영광스러운 왕국의 원리로 사는 기회를 주셔서 감사합니다. 저는 믿음의 삶을 삽니다. 제가 말씀대로 행동할 때 지속적인 성공과 번영과 승리와 업적을 이루도록 제 믿음이 세워지고 발휘되고 힘을 얻습니다. 제 믿음은 살아서 역사하여 갈망한 결과를 낳습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FAITH IS KEY  

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went (Hebrews 11:8)

The Bible described Abraham as the father of faith. The Lord spoke to him to travel to an unknown destination that would become his home, and without further instructions, Abraham stepped out in faith. He didn’t question the Lord; he simply acted on the instruction.

Hebrews 11:9 says, “By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.” In other words, as he journeyed, wherever he pitched his tent or lived with his family at any given time, he lived unto God by faith, on the basis of what God had told him.

On another occasion, the Lord said to him “…for a father of many nations have I made thee” (Genesis 17:5).

Abraham believed the Word of the Lord, even though he was still childless and all he had were his servants.

Nevertheless, by the spirit of faith, he apprehended what the Lord had said, made confessions accordingly, and walked in the reality of it.

Galatians 3:7 tells us they that are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham; which means we’re to follow his example. Therefore, ours is a life of faith; faith is the currency by which we operate in the Kingdom.

We’re creatures of faith, from a lineage of faith. The Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Hebrews 11:1 NLT says, “What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.”

Faith is living according to God’s principles, trusting that He’s whom He says He is, that He’s done what He says He’s done, and that He’s given you what He says He’s given you. Faith is anchoring your life on God’s Word, refusing to be swayed to the left or to the right; it’s the title-deed to unseen realities. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to demonstrate my faith and live by the principles of our glorious Kingdom. I live a life of faith, and as I act on the Word, my faith is built strong, exercised and energised for continuous success, victories and triumphs. My faith is alive and working, producing the desired results, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

진리 안에 거하십시오
STAY IN THE TRUTH

“이로 인하여 우리가 들은 것들에 대해 보다 간절한 마음으로 주의를 기울여야 하리니, 이는 언제라도 우리가 그것들로 미끄러져 떨어지지 않게 하려 함이로다.”(히 2:1, 한글킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절을 다른 최신 번역으로 읽어보면, 우리가 듣고 배운 것들로부터 떨어져 나가는 것을 말하는 듯이 보입니다. 한 예로, 새 국제 영어성경(NIV)은 “그러므로 우리는 떠내려가지 않도록 들은 것에 더욱 유념해야 한다”고 말씀하는 반면, 킹 제임스 성경은 우리가 배운 진리가 우리에게서 떨어져 나가지 않도록 해야 한다고 말하는 것처럼 보입니다.

하지만 진리가 당신에게서 빠져나가도록 놔두는 것이든 당신이 진리로부터 멀어지는 것이든, 요점은 당신이 가르침을 받은 것이 무엇이든 그 방식대로 살지 않고 있다는 것입니다. 만약 진리가 당신을 떠나든 아니면 당신이 진리를 떠나든, 결과는 같을 것입니다. 당신은 진리와 함께하든지 아니면 진리와 하나가 되든지 해야 합니다. 당신이 배운 것이 당신을 떠나서도 안 되고, 당신이 그것에서 멀어져서도 안 됩니다.

STAY IN THE TRUTH

 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip (Hebrews 2:1).

When you read our opening verse in some newer translations, it seems to suggest that it’s referring to us slipping off what we’ve learnt or have been taught. For example, the NIV says, “We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.”Whereas, the King James Version seems to be saying we shouldn’t allow what we’ve learnt, or the truth, to slip away from us.

However, whether it’s you allowing the truth to slip away from you, or you’re the one drifting away from the truth, the point is, losing what you’ve learned or have been taught. If it left you, or you left it, the result will be the same. You’re supposed to be together or be one with the truth; what you’ve learnt shouldn’t leave you, and you shouldn’t drift away from it either.

2 Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves….”In your life, are you following the direction that the Lord gave you, or are you drifting away? Are you doing the things He asked you to do? Look through the instructions you were given in the Word of God,

or even in your local assembly, and be sure that you’re walking in the direction that the Lord gave you.

It’s important that you reflect on your life and be sure that you’re walking in sync with the Spirit; you’re following God’s plan for your life. It’s the ministry of the Holy Spirit, not only to teach you, but also to remind you of all He’s taught you. If you give Him your attention, He’ll guide you aright always; Jesus said He’ll guide you into all truth. Trust Him with your life, and He’ll lead and guide you in God’s perfect will for you.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the words of inspiration and instructions you pass to my spirit by the Holy Ghost; I make full-proof of them, living the triumphant life you prearranged for me before the foundations of the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

예수님의 피로 세운 새 언약
THE NEW TESTAMENT IN HIS BLOOD

“식후에 또한 그와 같이 잔을 가지시고 이르시되 이 잔은 내 피로 세운 새 언약이니 이것을 행하여 마실 때마다 나를 기념하라 하셨으니”(고전 11:25)

주 예수님께서 우리를 위해 그분 자신을 주셨을 때 그것은 그저 자연인의 피를 흘린 게 아니었습니다. 왜냐하면 그분의 생명은 첫 번째 아담에게서 온 것이 아니기 때문입니다. 그분의 생명은 말씀에서 왔습니다(요 1:14, NKJV). 그분의 생명은 신성했고 그분이 흘린 피도 신성했습니다. 그분은 그분의 신성한 생명을 우리를 위해 주셨습니다. 따라서 그분이 “이 잔은 내 피로 세운 새 언약이니 이것을 행하여 마실 때마다 나를 기념하라…”고 말씀하셨던 의미는 새 언약의 모든 조항이 그분의 피에 의해 봉인되고 보장되었다는 것을 뜻했습니다.

당신의 삶과 미래는 예수님의 피로 보장된 것입니다. 그러므로 그분의 대속적 죽음과 장사 됨과 부활이 주는 모든 공급은 믿는 자의 삶에서 실재가 됩니다. 당신이 삶에서 원하는 것 중 그분의 피가 부담할 수 없는 것은 없습니다. 그래서 고린도전서 3:21에서 성령님은 바울 사도를 통해 “만물이 다 너희 것임이라”라고 분명히 선언하십니다. 할렐루야!

NOTHING WORKS WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works (John 14:10).

The Holy Spirit is the active agent of the Godhead; He’s the power of God; He carries out the acts of God. Man was created and formed by the Holy Spirit; everything God does outside of His throne is through the Holy Spirit. It’s important to understand that nothing works without the Holy Spirit; there’s no life without Him.

If you were tasked with an evangelical assignment in your local church, for example, until and unless, you execute it by the power of the Spirit; except He’s the one working in, and through you, it’ll be a fruitless expedition. The Bible says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13); that’s referring to the Holy Spirit. No one can do God’s work without Him. The Bible says, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Not even the Lord Jesus could do without the Holy Spirit. All the great works He did were done through the power of the Holy Spirit. We read what He said in our opening verse: “…the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, it then means you can do nothing without Him. No wonder God wants us to be filled with the Spirit always (Ephesians 5:18). The Holy Spirit is God at work in us, building His Church through us. Recognise Him as your helper, and you’ll function always with His ability and strength; He’ll make you a success in life and in all that you do.

PRAYER
Precious Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you as my helper, and the one I need to be an absolute success in life. Thank you for your ability, strength and wisdom mightily at work in me. Health, victory, strength, prosperity and success are mine now and always, as you work in me, both to will, and to do of your good pleasure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

예수님의 자취를 따라 걸으십시오
WALKING IN HIS STEPS

“이를 위하여 너희가 부르심을 받았으니 그리스도도 너희를 위하여 고난을 받으사 너희에게 본을 끼쳐 그 자취를 따라오게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧전 2:21)

주 예수님은 이 땅을 거니시는 동안 모범적인 삶을 보여주셨습니다. 그분은 감각적 영역에 놀랍게 개입하셨을 뿐 아니라 모든 면에서 특별하셨습니다. 그분은 부족한 적이 없으셨습니다. 필요하다는 의식도 없으셨습니다. 그분은 항상 상황과 환경을 제압하셨습니다. 말할 것도 없이 그분은 경이로우셨습니다. 그 누구도 하지 않았던 말을 사용하셨습니다.

우리가 모방할 본보기 중 예수님보다 더 완벽한 분은 없습니다. 그분은 환경에 대해 절대적인 우위를 행사하셨습니다. 어떤 것으로도 혼란스럽거나 노한 적이 없으셨습니다. 그분이 하신 말씀은 그대로 되었습니다. 제자들과 함께 배에 타고 계셨을 때, 제자들은 예수님이 거친 바람과 파도에 말씀하시는 것을 들었습니다. 이보다 전에 그들은 예수님이 나무에 명하신 것을 들었는데, 그 나무는 뿌리부터 말라버렸습니다. 그분이 눈먼 사람의 눈과 절름발이의 다리에 대고 말씀하시자, 그것들은 모두 그 말씀을 듣고 그분께 순종했습니다. 사람들이 “도대체 그는 어떤 사람인가?”하며 놀라는 것도 당연합니다.

예수님이 어떤 분인지 알려드리겠습니다. 그분은 새로운 피조물을 이끄십니다. 고린도후서 5:17은 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물 곧 새로운 종류의 사람이라고 말씀합니다. 이 새로운 종류의 사람은 예수님과 같습니다. 우리도 예수님과 같은 줄기에서 나왔습니다. 요한일서 4:17은 “…주께서 그러하심 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하다”고 말씀합니다. 이 말씀이 바로 우리가 그분을 모방할 수 있는 이유입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절은 그분의 자취를 따르라고 말씀합니다. 다시 말하면 그분의 본을 따르라는 것입니다. 그 이유는 그분이 그러듯이 우리도 그러하기 때문입니다. 마가복음 11:23에서 예수님은 “네가 말한 것은 무엇이든지 갖게 될 것이다”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 할렐루야!

지금 바로 이것을 연습하십시오. 재정과 직업과 학업과 가족과 사역 등 굽이치는 성난 바람과 파도를 향해 그치라고 명하십시오. 당뇨를 향해 치유되라고 말하십시오. 암 종양을 향해 사라지라고 말하십시오. 당신은 예수님처럼 어떤 것에든 말할 수 있습니다. 그러면 그것은 당신에게 복종할 것입니다. 그것이 예수님이 우리에게 남겨 주신 본보기요 곧 우리가 따라야 하는 그분의 자취입니다.

복되신 아버지, 예수님이 보여주신 합당하고 영광스러운 모범에 대해 감사드립니다. 저는 상황과 환경을 제압하고 사탄과 이 세상의 요소들을 성령의 능력과 예수 이름의 권세로 통치합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WALKING IN HIS STEPS  

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps (1 Peter 2:21).

The Lord Jesus, in His earth-walk, led an exemplary life. Not only was He a phenomenal intrusion into the sense realm, He was extraordinary in all facets. He was never in want; He had no consciousness of need; He was always in charge of situations and circumstances. He was a marvel, to say the least. He used words like no one ever did.

There isn’t a more perfect example for us to emulate than Jesus. He exercised absolute mastery over circumstances; never flustered or ruffled by anything. Every word He spoke came to pass. Once, He was in a boat with His disciples and they heard Him talk to the boisterous winds and waves. Prior to that time, they had heard Him talk to a tree, and the tree withered from its roots. He talked to blind eyes, and to lame legs, they all heard and obeyed Him.

No wonder they asked in utter bewilderment, “What manner of man is this?” Well, I’ll tell you the manner of man Jesus is: He heads up the new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says if any man be in Christ, he’s a new creature; a new kind of man; this new kind of man is like Jesus. We’re of the same stock. 1 John 4:17 says, “…as he is, so are we in this world.” This is the reason we can emulate Him. Our theme scripture tells us to follow His steps; in other words, follow His examples, because as He is, so are we. He said in Mark 11:23, “You shall have what you say.” Hallelujah!

Practise this even now: command any boisterous wind and wave that may be billowing against your finances, your job, your academics, family, ministry, etc., to cease. Speak to diabetes to be healed; tell that cancerous growth to dematerialise. Like Jesus, you can talk to anything and it’ll obey you. That’s the example Jesus left us with, His very steps that we have to follow.

PRAYER
Thank you blessed Father, for the worthy and glorious examples of Jesus. I take charge of situations and circumstances, and reign in this life over Satan and the elements of this world by the power of the Holy Spirit, and authority in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

하나님이 말씀하셨으니, 그대로 행하십시오
DO IT, BECAUSE HE SAID IT

“너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라”(약 1:22)

영적으로 성숙한 그리스도인은 항상 신속하게 말씀대로 행동합니다. 그는 의문을 제기하지도 않고 하나님의 말씀이나 그분의 지시를 합리적으로 설명하려고도 하지 않습니다. 그는 단지 요구되는 바른 행동을 취합니다. 거기에 진정한 축복이 있습니다. 말씀대로 행동하십시오. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 것처럼, 축복을 받는 자는 말씀을 듣고 아무것도 하지 않는 사람이 아니라 말씀을 행하는 사람입니다. 하나님이 어떤 것을 말씀하셨다면, 기꺼이 신속하게 행동하십시오. 하나님이 말씀하셨으니, 그대로 행하십시오.

신약에서, 하나님은 그분의 음성에 순종하거나 그분의 말씀을 행하라고 우리를 설득시키실 필요가 없습니다. 왜냐하면 우리는 그분의 말씀을 행하기 위해 살고 있기 때문입니다. 우리는 말씀으로 삽니다. 아브라함처럼 우리도 그분을 신뢰합니다. 왜냐하면 교제를 통해 우리가 그분을 알게 되었기 때문입니다. 우리에게 아브라함은 하나님의 지시를 크게 존중했던 사람의 본보기입니다. 창세기 22:2에서 주님은 그에게 말씀하셨습니다. “네 아들 네 사랑하는 독자 이삭을 데리고 모리아 땅으로 가서 내가 네게 일러준 한 산 거기서 그를 번제로 드리라”

이 지시가 아무리 어렵더라도 아브라함은 그것에 의문을 제기하지 않았습니다. 그는 말씀하신 그대로 행동했는데, 만일 주님이 그를 중지시키지 않으셨다면 그는 자기 아들을 제물로 바쳤을 것입니다. 그의 동기는 단순했습니다. 즉 하나님이 그렇게 하라고 말씀하셨기에 그 일을 한 것입니다! 이것이 늘 말씀에 대한 당신의 태도가 되어야 합니다. 당신의 기쁨과 환희는 주님이 하라고 하신 데에 있어야 합니다. 당신에게 하신 그분의 지시가 유쾌하지 않거나 비논리적인 듯 보일 수 있지만, 지혜롭게 그분이 말씀하신 대로 하십시오. 하나님의 “어리석음”이 인간의 지혜보다 더 지혜롭기 때문입니다.

결정을 내리려고 할 때, 하나님의 말씀이 다른 것을 밝혀준다면, 당신의 심령을 완악하게 하지 마십시오. 말씀을 따라가십시오. 하나님의 말씀은 항상 당신에게 “더 탁월한” 길을 보여주실 것입니다. 삶에 능력이 있도록 당신을 말씀의 주되심에 완전히 내어드리고, 말씀이 당신을 탁월하도록 빚고 고치며 바꾸고 배치하는지 지켜보십시오. 그러면 당신은 하나님께서 정해 놓으신 탁월한 자가 될 것입니다.

기도
사랑하는 아버지, 제게 주신 아버지의 말씀은 모든 보물 중 가장 귀합니다. 저는 아버지께서 정한 영광스러운 인격체가 되도록 빚고, 고치며, 맞추는 말씀의 주되심에 저를 영원히 내어드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

DO IT BECAUSE HE SAID IT  

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22).

The Christian who’s come to spiritual maturity is always quick to act on the Word; he doesn’t question or try to rationalise God’s Word or His instructions; he simply takes the required actions.

That’s where the blessing really is: acting on the Word.

As we read in our opening verse, it’s the doers of the Word that please the Father, not those who hear, and do nothing. As long as it’s His Word, be quick and willing to act.

In the New Testament, God doesn’t have to convince us to obey His voice or do His Word, because we live the Word. Like Abraham, we’ve come to trust Him, because we’re acquainted with Him through fellowship. Abraham is, for us, an example of one who greatly esteemed God’s instructions. In Genesis 22:2, the Lord said to him, “…Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.”

As tough as this instruction was, Abraham didn’t question it; he acted accordingly and would have sacrificed his son, had the Lord not stopped him. His motivation was simple: God said to do it, and that’s it! This should be your attitude to the Word always.

Your pleasure and delight should be in doing the things the Lord said to do. His instruction to you may seem unpleasant or illogical, but be wise and do what He says, because God’s “foolishness” is wiser than man’s wisdom.

If you’re about to make a decision and the Word of God reveals something different, don’t harden your heart; go with the Word. God’s Word will always show you the “more excellent” way. Yield yourself completely to the lordship of the Word, and watch the Word mould, correct, transform, and position you for greatness, and fulfil His destiny for your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word to me is the greatest of all treasures; I’ll forever yield myself to the lordship of your Word to mould, correct and fashion me into that glorious personality that you’ve ordained me to be, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR ABILITY IN CHRIST

“우리가 무슨 일이든지 우리에게서 난 것 같이 생각하여 스스로 만족할 것이 아니니 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님께로부터 나느니라”(고후 3:5)

고린도후서 4:7은 말씀합니다. “우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라” 당신 안에서 역사하는 능력은 신성합니다. 그것은 타고난 신체적인 재능이나 지능과는 전혀 상관이 없습니다. 당신이 무엇이든 할 수 있고, 무엇이든 될 수 있으며, 원하는 분야에서 번영할 수 있는 이유는 그리스도의 충만함으로 충만하기 때문입니다. 그리스도는 당신 안에서 역사하는 능력입니다. “너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희에게 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니”(빌 2:13)

그러므로 어떤 과업이 주어졌을 때 타고난 재능이 없다는 생각이 들더라도 “제가 이 일을 할 수 있을지 모르겠어요”라고 말하지 마십시오. 성령으로 당신은 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다! 이 실재를 인식하십시오. 항상 “나는 내게 능력 주시는 그리스도를 통해 모든 것을 할 수 있다”고 선포하십시오. 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 시도하는 모든 일에서 성공할 수 있는 힘이며 어떤 역경에서도 승리하게 하는 보장입니다.

당신 안에 계신 그리스도가 전부입니다! 당신 안에 그분이 계시는 것 자체가 당신을 초자연적인 존재가 되게 합니다. 그분은 당신의 속사람 안에 능력을 주어 당신을 강하게 합니다. 다시 말해 당신의 삶에 연약함이란 더 이상 존재하지 않는다는 뜻입니다. 성령을 받기 전에는 연약하고 소심하며 쉽게 의기소침했을 수도 있지만, 이제 당신은 그분의 신성한 능력으로 인해 안으로부터 스위치가 켜졌습니다. 당신은 위기를 다스리는 능력으로 믿음 안에서 담대하고 용감하며 대담합니다.

당신이 혼자가 아니라는 것을 의식하십시오. 요한일서 4:4은 말씀합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라.” 살면서 어떤 도전에 직면하더라도, 당신은 그것들을 뛰어넘을 수 있습니다. 당신을 대적하여 오는 어떤 것도 대면하여 승리할 수 있는 그리스도의 능력이 당신에게 있습니다. 그러므로 도전을 대면할 때, 인간적인 능력이 아니라 당신 안에 있는 그리스도의 생명을 의지하고 자랑하십시오.

날마다 승리하는 삶을 살기로 결단하고, 주님을 위해 큰일을 하십시오. 주님이 그리스도 안에서 당신에게 능력을 주셨기 때문입니다.

고백
나의 충만함은 하나님에게서 왔습니다. 하나님은 어떤 일이라도 적합하게 해낼 수 있는 엄청난 능력과 뛰어난 기술을 내게 아낌없이 주셨습니다. 그분은 내가 그분의 선한 기쁘심에 따라 뜻을 두고 행하도록 내 안에서 역사하십니다. 그러므로 나는 내게 능력 주시는 그리스도를 통해 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다!

BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR ABILITY IN CHRIST

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5).

2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” The power at work in you is divine; it’s got nothing to do with how physically endowed or naturally intelligent you are. The reason you can do anything, be anything, and prosper in whatever you do is the ability of Christ in you. He’s the power at work in you. Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Therefore, when circumstances place a demand on you, don’t say, “I’m not sure I can do this,” even if it’s something for which you think you’re not naturally able; by the Holy Ghost, you can do all things! Become conscious of this reality. Always declare, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Christ in you is your strength for success in any endeavour, and your assurance of victory in the face of adversities.

Christ in you is everything! His presence in you makes you supernatural; He strengthens you with might in your inner man; that means no weakness in your life. Before you received the Holy Spirit, you may have been weak and timid, easily discouraged, but now you’re turned on from within by His divine power! You’re bold and courageous, audacious in faith, with power over crises. Become conscious that you’re not alone; 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” No matter the challenges you might face in life, you can chew them up; you have Christ’s ability to face whatever comes out against you and win. When you face oppositions, you’re not to rely on or boast in your human ability, but in the life of Christ within.

Make up your mind to live triumphantly every day, and do big things for the Lord, for He’s granted you the ability of Christ.

 

CONFESSION
My sufficiency is of God, who has lavishly endowed me with tremendous abilities and uncanny skills to make me fit for any task. He’s the One at work in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Therefore, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!
