당신의 인생은 의미가 있습니다
THERE’S A MEANING TO YOUR LIFE
“우리는 그가 만드신 바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니 이 일은 하나님이 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라”(엡 2:10)
그리스도인인 당신 안에서 예정(predestination)이 작동하고 있습니다. 성경은 당신이 “모든 일을 그의 뜻의 결정대로 일하시는 이의 계획을 따라 우리가 예정을”(엡 1:11) 입었다고 말씀합니다. 당신은 이 세상에 속한 자가 아니라 하늘에서 온 자입니다. 당신의 인생에는 의미와 가치가 있습니다. 당신의 삶에는 영광이 있습니다. 당신은 아픔과 고통으로 울부짖는 오늘의 세상을 향한 하나님의 해답입니다. “어떻게 그렇다는 말인가요?”라고 물을 수 있겠지요. 제가 말씀드리겠습니다!
시편 74:20-21은 말씀합니다. “…무릇 땅의 어두운 곳에 포악한 자의 처소가 가득하나이다 학대 받은 자가 부끄러이 돌아가게 하지 마시고 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자가 주의 이름을 찬송하게 하소서” 이 세상의 어두운 곳에서 나오는 울부짖음에 대한 하나님의 해답은 무엇보다 먼저 예수님이셨습니다. 하나님은 예수님이라는 인격으로 그분의 말씀을 보내셨습니다(시 107:20). 요한복음 1:14은 말씀이 육신이 되셔서 우리 가운데 거하셨다고 알려줍니다. 하나님의 해결은 세상의 구원자로 오신 인간이신 그리스도 예수 안에 포장되어 있었습니다.
예수님은 죽으시고 장사되시고 부활하신 후에 하늘로 올라가셨지만, 교회인 우리에게 그분이 시작하신 일을 계속하라는 임무를 주시고 떠나셨습니다. 이사야 53:10(한글킹제임스)은 말씀합니다. “…그[예수님이]가 자신의 씨를 보리니 그가 자신의 날들을 늘릴 것이요, 주의 기쁨이 그의 손에서 번창하리라.” 우리는 예수 그리스도의 씨요 그분의 복사판이므로, 우리를 통해 그분의 사역이 지속됩니다. 예수님은 요한복음 20:21에서 말씀하셨습니다. “…아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이 나도 너희를 보내노라”
예수님이 세상의 빛이셨듯이(요 8:12) 오늘날 당신이 세상의 어두운 곳을 비추는 하나님의 빛입니다. 예수님은 마태복음 5:14에서 “너희는 세상의 빛이라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 이 땅의 어두운 곳은 잔인한 거주자들로 가득할 수도 있지만, 당신이 바로 거기에서 무언가를 해야 하는 당사자입니다. 당신이 세상의 빛이기 때문에 가만히 있지 마십시오. 이 땅의 어두운 곳에 복음의 빛을 비추어서 그들의 심령을 어둠에서 빛으로 사탄의 세력에서 하나님께로 돌이키십시오.
고백
사랑하는 하늘 아버지, 아버지의 영을 통해 나를 생명의 길로 인도하시고 나를 향한 아버지의 온전한 뜻의 방향으로 이끄시니 감사합니다. 아버지의 지혜는 아버지께서 나를 위해 전부터 예비하신 승리와 기쁨과 형통과 평안의 길로 내가 걷게 합니다. 나는 나의 세상에 구원과 소망과 축복을 가져오는 이 어두운 세상을 비추는 빛입니다. 예수 이름으로 고백합니다. 아멘.

THERES A MEANING TO YOUR LIFE
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).
As a Christian, predestination is at work in you. The Bible says you’ve been “…predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” (Ephesians 1:11). You’re not of this world. You’re from heaven. There’s a meaning and value to your life. There’s a glory in, and on your life. You’re God’s answer to the cry of pain and suffering in today’s world. You might ask, “How’s that?” I’ll tell you! Psalm 74:20-21 says, “…for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.” God’s answer to the cries coming from these dark regions of the world was Jesus; He sent His Word (Psalm 107:20), in the Person of Jesus. John 1:14 tells us that the Word became flesh, and dwelt amongst us. God’s solution was packaged in the man, Christ Jesus, who came as the Saviour of the world. After His death, burial, and resurrection, He ascended to heaven; but not without commissioning us, the Church, to continue the work that He started. Isaiah 53:10 says, “…he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.” We’re the seed of Jesus Christ; His reproduction; and through us, His ministry continues. He said in John 20:21, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” Today, you’re God’s light to the dark regions of the world, just as Jesus was the light of the world (John 8:12). He said in Matthew 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world….” The dark places of the earth might have been filled with the habitations of cruelty, but you’re the one to do something about it. You’re the light of the world; so, don’t be quiet. Shine the light of the Gospel into the dark regions of the earth, turning their hearts from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God.
PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for guiding me in the path of life and leading me through your Spirit in the direction of your perfect will for me. Your wisdom propels me to walk in the paths of victory, joy, prosperity and peace that you’ve prepared for me ahead of time. I’m the light in this dark world, bringing succour, hope, and blessings to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
