의인의 지혜
The Wisdom Of The Just
“그가 또 엘리야의 영과 능력을 가지고 주 앞에 앞서 가서 아비들의 마음을 자식들에게로, 불순종한 자들을 의인들의 지혜로 돌아오게 하며, 주를 위하여 마련해 놓은 백성을 예비시키리라고 하더라”(눅 1:17, 한글킹제임스)
오늘의 주제 성경 구절에 나온 “불순종한 자들”이란 말은 헬라어 원문에 따르면 설득될 수 없는 자, 고집이 세고 바른 방향으로 가려고 하지 않는 사람을 뜻합니다. 그들은 의도적으로 잘못된 행동을 선택합니다. 고집 센 사람들이 있습니다. 심지어 그들은 진리를 알면서도 다른 것을 선택합니다. 그들은 하나님 말씀, 곧 하나님의 지혜에 기꺼이 복종하지 않습니다.
그래서 오늘의 본문말씀에 나타난 것처럼, 주님으로부터 진리의 메시지를 전하라는 책임을 부여 받은 사람들은 불순종하는 자들의 심령을 의인의 지혜로 돌아오게 해야 합니다. 의인의 지혜란 의인의 사고 방식을 말합니다. 그것은 말씀에 순종하고 양보된 마음으로, 말씀에 쉽게 설득되어 말씀과 일치한 행동을 하는 것입니다.
그런 사람은 기꺼이 말씀을 받아 들이고, 말씀을 기반으로 자신을 조정합니다. 그것이 의인의 지혜로 기능하는 것입니다. 진정한 지혜는 하나님의 말씀 안에서 그것을 따라 사는 것으로써 말씀에 영향을 받아 올바른 생각과 행동을 하게 하는 것입니다.
베드로전서 4:17절은 말씀합니다. “하나님의 집에서 심판을 시작할 때가 되었나니 만일 우리에게서 먼저 하면 하나님의 복음을 순종하지 아니하는 자들의 그 마지막은 어떠하며” 여기서 밑줄 친 부분의 원문은 위의 누가복음 1:17에서 읽은 “불순종한 자들”의 동사형입니다. 헬라어 “아페이테오(Apeitheo)”는 불순종한 자, 즉 “고의적으로 불순종하고 믿지 않는 자, 어리석은 자”라는 뜻입니다. 성경은 “어리석은 자는 그의 심령에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하는도다”(시 14:1)라고 말씀합니다.
당신은 거듭났기 때문에 다른 사고방식을 가지고 있습니다. 바로 의인의 사고방식입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 말씀에 감동을 받아 쉽게 움직입니다. 말씀에 기초하여 행동합니다. 어떤 일이 일어나든지, 혹은 그것이 이성이나 감정에 호소하는 일이라도 상관없이 만약 하나님 말씀이 그렇지 않다고 말한다면 말씀에 따라 설득됩니다. 오직 하나님 말씀만 받아들이고 그것에 따라 살기로 자신을 훈련하십시오.
기도
복되신 주님, 나는 주님께 완전히 순종하며 헌신합니다. 내 삶에 있는 말씀의 능력에 감사합니다. 나는 항상 성공할 것입니다. 왜냐하면 나는 말씀에 기초하여 결정하고 행동하기 때문입니다. 내 안에서 역사하는 주님의 지혜는 오늘도, 그리고 항상 예수 그리스도 안에서 위대함과 승리, 기쁨과 평안의 길로 나를 나아가게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE WISDOM OF THE JUST
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord (Luke 1:17).
“The disobedient” in our opening text, following the original Greek rendering, means one who can’t be persuaded; one who’s headstrong and doesn’t want to go in the right direction. He or she deliberately chooses to do wrong. There’re such people today; They’re unyielding; even when they know the truth, they choose to do otherwise. They’re unwilling to submit to the Word of God, which is the wisdom of God. Part of the responsibility of those whom the Lord has sent with His message of truth is to turn the hearts of these disobedient folks to the wisdom of the just. The wisdom of the just refers to the mindset of the righteous. It’s a mind that’s yielded and given to the Word—easily persuaded by the Word to act in conformity to the Word. Such a person is willing to accept the Word, and to make adjustments on the basis of the Word. That’s functioning in the wisdom of the just. True wisdom is living in, and by God’s Word; being influenced and propelled by the Word to the right thoughts and actions. 1 Peter 4:17 says, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” The underlined portion of the preceding verse is the verb of the noun we read in Luke 1:17: “that obey not.” The Greek word is “Apeitheo,” meaning the disobedient; one who’s willfully disobedient and unbelieving; the foolish. The Bible says, “The fool says in his heart, “There is no God…” (Psalm 14:1 NIV). Being born again, you have a different mindset: the mindset of the just. Therefore, be swayed and easily moved by the Word of God; take your actions on the basis of the Word. It doesn’t matter how something appears, or that you find it appealing to the senses or your emotions, if the Word of God says otherwise, conform to the Word. Discipline yourself to accept and live by the Word of God only.

Blessed Lord, I’m totally yielded and committed to you. I appreciate the power of your Word in my life. I’ll always be a success, because my decisions and actions are based on your Word. Your wisdom is at work in me, propelling me in the path of greatness, victories, joy and peace, today and always, in Jesus’ Name Amen.
