지도자들을 위한 기도
PRAYING FOR LEADERS
“그러므로 내가 첫째로 권하노니 모든 사람을 위하여 간구와 기도와 도고와 감사를 하되 임금들과 높은 지위에 있는 모든 사람을 위하여 하라 이는 우리가 모든 경건과 단정함으로 고요하고 평안한 생활을 하려 함이라”(딤전2:1-2)
사도행전 13:6-12에서 우리는 바나바와 바울이 음란과 어둠이 공존하는 도시인 바보에서 선교하는 것에 관한 매우 흥미로운 이야기를 발견할 수 있습니다. 그들이 도시에서 전도 활동을 하고 있을 때, 총독 서기오 바울은 하나님의 말씀을 듣고자 바나바와 바울을 불렀습니다.
그러나 그의 영향력 있는 신하 중 한 사람, 유명한 거짓 예언자이자 마술사가 바나바와 바울의 선교 활동을 저지하려 했습니다. 그는 자신의 상관이 복음을 듣는 것을 원치 않았습니다. 그러나 바울은 마술사 엘루마가 속임수와 악행으로 가득 찬 것을 알고, 그를 훈계하며 다음과 같이 말했습니다. “보라 이제 주의 손이 네 위에 있으니 네가 맹인이 되어 얼마 동안 해를 보지 못하리라 하니 즉시 안개와 어둠이 그를 덮어 인도할 사람을 두루 구하는지라”(행13:11) 갑자기 엘루마는 눈이 멀었고 그들을 더 이상 방해할 수 없게 되었습니다. 할렐루야!
서기오 바울은 신중한 사람이었습니다. 그는 부패한 관리는 아니었지만, 사탄이 심은 엘루마가 자신에게 어떤 영향을 미칠지 알지 못했습니다. 이것은 종종 사탄이 정부와 정치 지도자들에게 접근하여 그들에게 영향을 미치고 그들이 잘못된 일을 하게 하는 방법입니다.
그러므로 당신의 도시, 주 또는 국가의 지도자들을 위해 기도할 때, 사탄이 그들 가운데 사탄의 사람들을 심어 지도자들이 말씀을 듣지 못하게 하고 하나님을 알지 못하게 하는 때가 있음을 기억하십시오. 따라서, 예수 이름을 사용하여 지도자들이 하나님의 뜻과 목적에 대적하도록 영향력을 행사하거나 권면하려는 자들에 대한 사탄의 권세를 무너뜨리십시오.
더욱이 마귀에게 명하여 지도자들의 생각을 붙잡고 있는 그의 손을 놓게 하고, 그리스도의 영광스러운 복음의 빛이 그들에게 비치게 하십시오. 복음을 받아들이도록 그들이 심령이 열리고, 그 결과로 그들의 심령에 의가 나타나고, 하나님의 지혜가 그들의 생각을 인도하도록 고백하십시오. 디모데전서 2:1-2에서 권면한 대로 지도자들의 모든 사람들을 위해 기도하십시오.
기도
주여, 열방의 지도자들과 백성들이 구원받기를 바라며 주의 의가 그들의 마음을 다스리고 그들의 생각을 인도하기를 원하오니 열국의 지도자들이 마음을 열고 복음을 받아들이기를 기도합니다 당신의 말씀이 자유로이 진행되고 영화롭게 되며 그들의 삶에서 지배하는 힘을 갖게 되어 그들 가운데 있는 모든 부정적인 영향을 효과적으로 차단하기를 예수 이름으로 기도합니다 아멘

Praying For Leaders
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority…”(1 Timothy 2:1-2).
In Acts 13:6-12, we find a very interesting story about the missionary work of Barnabas and Paul in Paphos—a city known for a combination of immorality and darkness. In the course of their evangelical work in the city, the deputy, Sergius Paulus, wanted to hear God’s Word and sent for Barnabas and Paul.
But one of his very influential officials—a noted false prophet and sorcerer, attempted to frustrate their missionary efforts. He didn’t want his boss to hear the Gospel. But Paul, having observed Elymas’ deceptive and malicious tendencies, firmly expostulated with him and said, “And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season…” (Acts 13:11). Suddenly, the man went blind and got out of their way. Hallelujah!
Sergius Paulus was a prudent man; he wasn’t a corrupt official, but he was unaware of the kind of influence that Elymas would have on him, having been planted by Satan. These are often part of Satan’s ways of getting across to government and political leaders, to influence them and get them to do the wrong things.
Therefore, in praying for the leaders of your city, state or country, remember that there’re times Satan plants his own people among them, to distract them from hearing the Word and from getting to know God. Therefore, using the Name of Jesus, break the power of Satan over those who work with leaders and seek to influence or counsel them to go against the will and purposes of God.
Furthermore, Command the devil to loose his grip over their minds, so the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ would shine unto them. Affirm that their hearts are open to receive the Gospel willingly, and as a result, righteousness springs up in their hearts, and the wisdom of God guides their thoughts. Pray for leaders and all men this way as admonished in 1 Timothy 2:1-2.
PRAYER
Lord, your desire is for the leaders and peoples of the nations to be saved, and for your righteousness to rule their hearts and guide their thinking. Therefore, I pray for leaders of nations, that their hearts be opened and receptive to the Gospel. I pray that your Word will have free course and be glorified and have prevailing power in their lives, effectively cutting off every negative influence from among them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
