예수님은 처음이자 마지막이십니다
He’s The First And The Last
“주 하나님이 이르시되 나는 알파와 오메가라 이제도 있고 전에도 있었고 장차 올 자요 전능한 자라 하시더라”(계 1:8)
당신이 성경을 통해 예수님에 대해 공부하면 분명한 결론에 도달하게 됩니다. 바로 예수님이 하나님이시라는 것입니다! 예수님은 처음과 마지막이시며 시작이자 끝이십니다. 그분은 먼 옛날 다니엘도 말했던 바로 그분 이십니다.
사도 요한은 밧모 섬에 유배되어 있을 당시 주님으로부터 계시를 받고 이렇게 말했습니다. “내가 주의 날에 성령 안에 있을 때에 내 뒤에서 나팔 소리 같은 큰 음성을 들었는데 이르시기를, 나는 알파와 오메가요 처음과 마지막이라…”(계 1:10-11 한글킹제임스). 이 분이 바로 예수님이십니다!
주님은 또한 17-18절에서 사도 요한에게 말씀하셨습니다. “두려워하지말라 나는 처음이요 마지막이니 곧 살아 있는 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어…”(계 1:17-18). 이 설명에 꼭 들어맞는 분은 예수님뿐입니다. 예수님은 죽으셨지만 이제 영원히 살아 계시는 분이십니다. 할렐루야!
예수님이 시작이자 끝이라면, 이는 당신의 성공의 여정에서 두려워하거나 걱정할 것이 없음을 의미합니다. 그분이 당신과 함께 계시며, 당신 안에 계십니다. 당신이 시작할 때에도 그분은 바로 거기에 계십니다. 당신이 길을 걷는 중에도 그분은 거기 계십니다. 그 길의 끝에도 예수님이 계십니다. 그분은 당신을 절대적으로 보호하십니다. 예수님은 당신의 여정의 모든 단계에서 당신과 함께하십니다.
히브리서 12:2이 다음과 같이 말하는 것은 당연합니다. “믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자…” 이는 당신이 미래에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없다는 뜻입니다. 태초부터 예수님은 이미 끝을 알고 계시며, 우리에게 말씀하십니다. “두려워 말라.”
그러므로 항상 담대하고 확신을 가지십시오. 당신이 그리스도 안에 있고, 그리스도가 당신 안에 계시며 그분이 당신에 관한 모든 것을 온전케 하심을 항상 인지하십시오. 예수님은 만물의 창시자(시작)이시며, 모든 것을 온전케 완성하시는 분(끝) 이십니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!
기도
귀하신 주 예수님, 당신은 영광스럽고 위대하시고 전능하십니다. 당신은 의롭고, 거룩하고, 순수하고, 참되십니다. 당신은 알파와 오메가이며, 만물의 창조자요 완성자이십니다! 나는 항상 기뻐합니다. 왜냐하면 주께서 내 안에 계시고 항상 나와 함께 계심을 알고 있고, 당신께서 나를 생명의 길로 인도하시며 주의 온전한 뜻을 이루도록 도우시기 때문입니다. 아멘.

He’s The First And The Last
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”(Revelation 1:8).
As you study about Jesus in the Scriptures, you come to an unequivocal conclusion: He is Himself, God! He’s the First and the Last, the beginning, and the ending. He’s the One described by Daniel as the Ancient of days.
John the Apostle, while exiled on the Island of Patmos, received revelations from the Lord. He said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last…” (Revelation 1:10-11). That’s Jesus!
The Lord also said to him in verses 17-18, “…Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen…” (Revelation 1:17-18). The only one who fits this description is Jesus. He’s the One that died but is alive forever more. Hallelujah!
Now, if He’s the beginning and the ending, that means you have nothing to fear or worry about in your journey of success. He’s with you, and in you. As you start out, He’s right there. On the way, He’s right there. At the end, He’s also there. He absolutely got you covered. He’s with you every phase of your journey.
No wonder the Bible says in Hebrews 12:2, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith….” That means you don’t need to worry about the future; from the very beginning, He already knows the end, and He says, “Fear not.”
Therefore, be bold and confident always, knowing that you’re in Christ, and He’s in you, and He’s perfected all that concerns you; He’s the author (beginning) and perfecter (ending) of all things. Blessed be God!
PRAYER
Precious Lord Jesus, you’re glorious, you’re great and mighty; you’re righteous, holy, pure, and true. You’re the Alpha and Omega; the author and perfecter of all things! I rejoice evermore, knowing that you’re in me and with me always, guiding me in the path of life, to fulfil your perfect will. Amen.
